I've volunteered with Oxfam before and bought some nice things in this shop, but I have to agree with other reviewers that the prices are ridiculous. Belts and shirts are more or less the same price as buying new, and this isn't vintage stock, it's Topman or M&S. Almost bought a pair of trousers here until I saw they'd put them on the shelf with a hole in the worst possible place, and no one had noticed. So not only is it overpriced, but poorly managed. I love Oxfam, but I don't love this one.
good collection and amazing deals
it is ridiculous how expensive they sell , especially the clothes, shirts etc.. it is cheaper to buy new one and clean from high street shops lol I would start an investigation to see where those money actually goes into
Loved every single item. I bought different pieces - jigsaw, plate, and some other cool things. Staff was beyond lovely and super helpful. Recommend 100%
The prices in here are far too high. I know it’s a charity but what is the point if most people walk out without buying because it’s too expensive? For example: a plain white Denby side plate nothing special £2.99 each when there were 4 of them. So that is £12 for 4 small secondhand plates. £6.99 for a cheap base metal bracelet? The latest offering is a singular ceramic tea/sugar caddy made by Liberty for Target…so a cheaper side brand, for the bargain price of £20!……yes £20! Someone really needs to look at the pricing here. Surely the idea should be to actually sell the stuff? once people get the impression that everything is overpriced they leave and a lot won’t come back!
Nice stuff and clothes. The staff was kind and nice. I definitely recommend this shop.
Terrible says it's open until 18:00 and is closed we walked so far to this shop
This store is a great little gem in the heart of the city. I like checking for some quirky and unique products and clothes. The icing on the cake is knowing your money goes to a good cause. The staff are really nice and always greet you with a friendly smile.
Dishonest “charity” definitely avoid Oxfam. There should be an investigation into this shop
Way overpriced, items are more than twice the prices of normal/similar charity shops, with the same kinds of items & brands.
