Love popping into this bookshop.. and then accidentally leaving with a book. It’s a local gem. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of gift cards as well, some by local artists.
A lovely local bookshop with a brilliant range of books for adults and children as well as a great selection of wrapping paper, cards, journals and puzzles. There are also lovely places to sit and read.
One of my favourite independent book stores! Such nice people and a great range of books!
Great bookshop with a good atmosphere. Wonderful to see someone reading to young children who were captivated by the stories.

My favourite bookshop. The layout and vibe is so pleasant. The selection is great. The staff have such passion for books. they stock a great range of fantasy fiction and welcome suggestions to enhance diversity of choice. I can easily order a book through them and know I’m supporting local business. This is an excellent place for children’s books almost half the story. But they have a great range of nonfiction and fiction. And I love the selection of cards so many pretty linocut and screen print artists from across England. I love translated fiction so I’d love to see to the bookshop showcase this more. On my last visit I could see they had novels translated from Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, Italian and Spanish, and they include them along displays.
Great bookshop, part of the Daunt Books team. Lovely shopkeepers and a great selection.
Helpful assistants, Prompt orders. Excellent range of books.
An absolute gem with a huge and varied selection. I had no trouble finding books on my to-read list, including those that were a little harder to find.
Amazing local bookshop. Such a great feature of the high street.
