Only had food and drink. But looked like good Craic fun in the evening too. Food and drink were lovely. Staff were so nice. That N Ireland charm is strong here. I Would definitely go again.

This is a very lovely place in an amazing location by the sea.  Their menu was super good. The selection of Beers and wine was also quite favourable.

The food is good, beer excellent. It's well worth a visit. We had the Sunday roast, delicious.  Vegetarian options: All items on the menu were clearly labelled as vegan or vegetarian.  Kid-friendliness: Had a clean sturdy high chair available. Kids menu included a drink and ice cream cone   Wheelchair accessibility: Doors wide and walking clear.  Dietary restrictions: Catered for all dietary restrictions, gluten, nuts and it&#39;s clearly stated on the menu that if you have restrictions you should inform the staff.

Lovely place and nice ambiance but been here a lot over the past year and have enjoyed it.  The last two times I have ordered the steak sandwich.  First time I got the wrong order. Mine was medium which was perfectly done but given to someone else and I got a medium to well which was OK.  Today I ordered a medium again and got a well done which was quite tough. The problem is that ads lovely as the staff are no one checks if your meal is ok. I only give tips for good service and good food and tip well if all is good.  I'm afraid no tips where given today.

Serving food and drink with social distancing rules in place. Great place to pop in. We had Ulster fry's and coffee. Nice atmosphere, great service. Stop in for breakfast, say hi for me. :

Called in for lunch today and the food was outstanding! I had the truffle mushroom toast and it was perfect! The staff that served us were friendly and helpful and the service was fast - can't wait to go back

While in Carrickfergus we ate at Ownies twice. We both had fish & chips, good but could have done with more than the tiny portion of mushy peas. I had seafood tagliatelle, which was good, with plenty of fish, prawns & mussels in a lovely sauce, my husband had the pork ribs & said they were excellent.  Parking: Parking on street outside but there is a car park nearby.
