We are set in historic Carrickfergus, between the old castle and the new marina. Our food is a mix of marinades, flame grilled, mouth-watering, oven roasted, slow roasted, spicy, poached, traditional & modern.

We are fully licensed & have a huge varied menu to choose from. We have seating for 125 relaxed customers. We also have parking for around 800 cars and even have a cinema next door to us. so why not make a night of it ?

I have been on several occassions and asked for dairy and gluten free food. On my final visit, while I was ordering, I was immediately informed that the only meal I ever ordered wasn't actually available as dairy free but then all of a sudden the meal was available as dairy free when I queried it. I made the connection to a few times I had been very sick after eating here. It didn't happen with every visit so I hadn't suspected the meal as a main culprit until I was told that moment. I suspect that some chefs made an effort to change it & some didn't but they served it anyway. I don't fancy playing Russian Roulette with my food, especially when it results in me being unwell.

Food good. Although a bit pricey. Staff very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Great meal, Portuguese pasta was fabulous, specials lovely too especially the combo and chorizo pasta. Service excellent very friendly and nothing was any trouble. Would defiantly recommend. Can't wait to return.

Great spot - food is a good price and plentiful. Menu is extensive and there is an excellent selection of meat free options. My personal favorite is the mushroom carbonara, the garlic bread that comes with it is delicious.
