Not the best brewers fayre we have been to. Staff did not mention that they did not have parts to some meals ie coleslaw. All the food did not arrive at the same time, one of the deserts arrived as two of the others were being finished. Having said that the girl that waited our table done everything within her power to improve the circumstances. There is free parking and toilets available. Kid-friendliness: Play zone for children and kids menu. Parking: Free parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Venue on ground floor.
Nice food and friendly staff. Due to Covid restrictions there is no self service for breakfast. But staff bring you anything you want. Stayed a few days and had the meal deal. Every meal was good. Not super food. But very good. Lovely views from the outdoor seating area.
I've been to a lot of brewers fayre all across the UK and this one just topped the list. Excellent location, you can see the castle from your table. The food was plentiful and delicious. And the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Will be back.
Pleasant location with a view of Carrickfergus and friendly front of house staff. There is an issue, however both with food being served as described on the menu, as ordered and then sufficiently hot or warm to eat.
Average food, lack availability of menu items..like sausages, salad,mac n cheese thats just from what we tried to order.female server bit abrupt but the lads very courteous and helpful.
The food sorry is like it was heated in a microwave and a slab of cheese put on top. My other guests got nice looking food like the fish but mine def heated up somewhere. If u order things like fish or burger then u be OK. Service was great can't fault and a great relaxed atmosphere, just a pity on the food.Food: 2/5
Great location facing the harbour and Carrickfergus Castle. Tables were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. It had a really nice comforting feel to it. Pints of Guinness and Carlsberg poured to perfection. I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked exactly as I asked and the pepper sauce hit the spot! Our waitress Lauren could not have done enough for us. Will definitely be back very soon!!
Usually good but today not so good. The garlic mushrooms very over cooked.the meal took a long time to come and chips over cooked peas cold. The staff were pleasant. Ladies toilets lock broken on the door and plaster on the carpet as the wall edges had been knocked off. But the dining area clean and neat. So today it could have done better. I would say usually a 4 star review but today 2 star.
Nice venue, clean, spacious and comfortable. Directions to the car park is poor and lighting is awful. Took a couple of visits in the dark to realise we were in wrong car park. Food okay but if you’re having a carvery, you might be disappointed if you get there early evening. We arrived at 6:15 and it was closed. Decided to go for menu options and they didn’t have 3 out of the 4 options we requested. To add pressure, we had to get our order in 5 minutes when the kitchen closed. On our last visit, the food wasn’t great. Staff issues were to blame so hopefully not a regular problem. Parking: Directions to the car park is poor and lighting is awful
Very nice breakfast place in nice price. Staff is really good and very attentive. Only issue is they dont remove the used plates until u will finish so many plates in the table. Thanks
