It’s a great pub, worthy of any out of area visit. Its got everything to have a pleasant and enjoyable night. Good music, food, and beers. The clientele friendly, a real mixture of intelligent conversation. I like it, see for yourself, you might return like me.

Ohmygoodness. How have I not been here before? Great Sunday roast, including vegan for my friend. Live jazz by a really fun band. Friendly barstaff and great drink selection.
Saw a live band Junkyard Choir here. The pub is lovely and staff were super helpful and attentive. We never waited long to get served even though it was busy.
Love this place. Always life musicians and events in the weekends and the garden is Lush,food is lovely. I have been many times ,recommend
Belated review - went here for a Sunday roast last year. The food is excellent, with large, extremely tasty portions at a very reasonable price. An intimate venue with low ceilings and a live jazz band. Nice.
Bloody love this pub and all the staff. It also makes THE best roast I've had for ages. As comfy as a front room it also has a seated and heated garden. They also have a small stage for live music. There was live spiraling jazz on when we went and it's not our favourite music in the world but the family meet up for a mother's day roast was a must so we sat thru it. 10/10 for everything else. The staff are young but super friendly and funny and quick to be attentive! The service at the bar was really fast and the clear up of the plates after food was like lighting. Proper good!

Been here a few times for a Sunday roast and it’s been great! Dog friendly and they play live music too at lunch. Staff are very friendly and great service. the roast is also great and good value for money
Person managing booking slammed phone down on my queries Nov 2022, unsure if my booking is still going ahead and how to reach out to the pub owner to provide detailed feedback. As a local resident and regular customer for years, taken aback by the service received. However I know the staff team are generally friendly and welcoming, all is not lost. Hope this review is helpful.
