Really impressed! Been waiting ages to try their famous pizzas and finally got the chance this weekend. Rung up to book a table which was a breeze. Had a wheelchair user with us, and we arrived to find the ramp set up so we could get in. Food was fantastic as was service. The pizza definitely lived up to the hype! 1 pizza and a couple of sides fed a family of 5. Try the Truffle Parmesan Fries! Got ready to leave and didn't even have to ask - the ramp was out again ready for us to get out. We'll definitely be back!

One of the finest pubs in Newark with a great range of crafted and local drinks (don't worry, they do offer tasters if you're not sure on what you want). They also have some of the best pizzas in town. Huge square pizzas that can easily serve 6 people that are always delicious and filling. Really nice and friendly atmosphere. Occasionally has live jazz music as well which is cool. Overall and really nice place to visit and would recommend it if you're only in town for a few days or want a change.

This used to be a great local pub with fairly priced food that was simply but nicely prepared. The house speciality was the huge tray pizzas, but these, along with everything else has now been greedily overpriced with a previously reasonably charge for ham, egg, and chips at £6.50 now increased to a mind boggling £12. The beer, once served in impeccable condition, now appears not so, as the pint in my hand as I write this is unacceptably poor, clearly pulled through lines that need cleaning. So it's time to say goodbye to Oscar's and go to many other great local hostelries. What a great shame, it used to be so good.

Lovely place. First visit but staff could have been more friendly if I am honest. I don't recall one of the four of them smiling once. Would go back however as very cute set up.
