My husband was seen today by Laura Smith in the rheumatology clinic. Laura was highly professional, knowledgeable, caring and helped to give my husband much needed reassurance concerning his condition.  A great addition to the rheumatology team

My husband had had hip surgery on Boddington Ward and received fantastic care from all the nurses and auxiliary staff. Everyone was kind, professional and attentive, which made such a difference to his recovery. Apologies because we can only remember nurse  Aggy by name, she was wonderful as were all the staff and I’d also like to mention Natalie in physiotherapy, who was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. first time at this hospital. i attended a ophthalmology appt on 21/8/25 i had two of my tests within 20 mins of appt time. then returned to waiting room for further tests. 1 hour 40 mins later i'm informed there over booked and will need to make a new appt. i explained this appt cost me over £120 for my carer to accompany me and the two staff members i was speaking to showed little to no interest in helping.

I went to the HRT clinic to visit Dr Hassan. He prescribed me testosterone. I was immediately asked to fill in a review, which I did - giving 5 stars as service seemed great.  Aftercare though is horrendous.  Dr Hassan promised to send me a letter explaining his decision and how to use the gel. I received none. I had to download their app to check my records - no prescribed medicine file. No files notes.  I went to the pharmacy and picked up my prescription.  No instructions on how or where to apply the gel.  Pharmacist said to put it on my shoulder but NHS website says my thigh. Hugely distressing to be prescribed medication with no record and no instructions.
