Last night my fiancé treated me to a meal out. We went to Origin and we had a fantastic evening. The decor was simply yet stylish. It is only a small restaurant but it has an amazing atmosphere from the minute we walked in. Maria was welcoming and couldn't do enough to please us. I had the duck starter which was delightful and then the veal, I have never had veal or tartar before, and it was delicious. Definitely recommend both dishes. And for dessert I had cheese, now I'm not normally a cheese fan but definitely hit the spot and I went home happy and well fed. Definitely be going again.

Visited The Origin for Sunday lunch, the newly opened Restaurant in Haxby. Had a lovely meal. Would recommend giving it a try.
