Most of the reviews here are for takeaway, but I have to mention the sit-in side of this restaurant. AMAZING. £20 For an all-you-can-eat heaven!! Loads of dishes to choose from, super lovely dessers, and amazing staff! This is my new go to place!
Upon opening the bag, I was struck with the wonderful aroma of urine duck marinade?, or perhaps decomposition. Perhaps my palate isn't as refined as that of your every day man or woman of Acton; for the taste outweighed the bouquet mildly by the onset of burning in my esophagus. Forgive the short review, I may have to hurl immediately.

A rather appalling quality meal I am afraid. Ordered pad thai which was 99.5% sweet and sour noodles which I hate, 2 small slithers of chicken, 2 green leaves of some sort, a thumb full of eggs, 2 beansprouts and a sprinkle of peanuts. I've had pad thai before and this was NOT it. The whole lot ended up in the bin. Finished by soggy banana fritters coated one side with honey. Extremely poor.
Tried it once while passing by the area to me, my dish just lacked flavour and seasoning I ordered their Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. It almost felt like they just put a dollop of sauce on top of the chicken or something as the quality just wasn't quite there nor was it up to my usual expectations for Chinese food. However, for the price, portion sizes and the quick waiting time, these were factors that were top notch and I can't complain.
Great guy who serves us when we walk in, don't go very often but when we have he is always nice. Food doesnt take long and in general tastes as you would expect. It is a take away and with fast food you sacrifice how its made, for people complaining about the quality in the other reviews...what do you expect when a prawn might only be 8p each and the one in Pierre Whites is £3 each. For the price you pay here, the value is good and food is very very good.
Really happy with the food i received on New Years from Oriental Express! I was very lucky to have 10/10 customer service we ordered late and he was still able to get the food prepared before the countdown! I even put in special requests with my order and everything was on point! Food was still fresh and tasty Will definitely be ordering again
Delivery was quick, but I really disliked it. Spring rolls were tasteless, seaweed was extremely sweet - like eating green granulated sugar, “crispy beef” was hard and covered in lots of very sweet sauce, chinese veg was overcooked and soggy, fish cakes were tasteless and rubbery with a nasty bright red vinegar and sugary dip, chow mein was greasy. Chucked most of it in the bin.
