Have been taking away food from Jun Peking for years! Always lovely service and great food. The portion sizes are also very generous. It’s important to support local businesses in these difficult times.Food: 5/5
This was a solid 3/5. Everything was just okay. Spent £25 and ordered the following Wonton soup - okay, 4 wontons in it which were very tasty, but soup was very watery. Crispy wontons - big portion, but too much crispy and not enough wonton per portion. Dumplings - good portion 6 decent size dumplings, very tasty. This was my favourite item. Sweet and sour pork - 50/50 on pork and veggies. Sauce was okay but not great. Pork was cooked good. Sauce was reheated and came out cold. Atmosphere was a 3/5 - flickering lights inside and dated and worn interior. We were the only ones sitting in, everyone else was grabbing take away. Overall it was fine but I wouldn't go again.
Dined here at what seemed to be an old family business , with the look and feel to the place. This is a plus for me as for me, they have a particular charm that a chain is unable to replicate. I came in as I noticed they had authentic Cantonese dishes on the menu normally hard to find, very friendly service, and the prices on the menu were very reasonable - considering nowadays, where most eateries have hiked up their prices massively. The food was tasty and on-par with food that I've had in Hong Kong before. So all in all, I came out a happy customer. These types of long-standing family restaurants are getting harder to come by now, so for me, it's good to support them and help keep them going whilst they're still here.

Would rate zero stars if possible, this place is run down, nobody dines inside anymore, food is always coated heavily in oil, pork is chewy and the chicken is cheap and doesn't even taste like chicken reminded me of Iceland frozen cubed chicken AWFUL. The prawn toast was burnt, sweet n sour sauce was yellow & just sour. Ribs were dry but drenched in yellow bean sauce?? Chow mein had two pieces of meat in it. Came in last night August 31st at around 9-10pm, spent around £30 and everything was hugely disappointing. Seriously?? Never again!
Always order from here and am never disappointed! The crispy noodles are my favourite! Would recommend, fast delivery and always Hot!Food: 5/5
Good portions, good value and a very satisfying meal. I recommend the salt fried pork chop with rice and the butterfly prawns. Relaxed and chilled surroundings.
