Superb experience, possibly the tastiest meal I've had in years! The staff were friendly, helpful, and restaurant atmosphere and decor was lovely. Quick and attentive service, food was fresh, authentic and extremely delicious. While a little pricey, for a special occasion, this was absolutely worth it! Highly recommend it and I look forward to coming back soon
LOW QUALITY FOOD, FALSE ADVERTISING, NASTY SERVICE. They sell a “Shredded Beef” without the beef. It’s a sticky fried tempura with zero content of beef, zero shredded anything. 28£ for zero in return. When asked where the beef was in the dish, they said “this is how we do this here”. They got really nasty and rude, then stormed back saying “we’re sending the manager”, who of course never arrived. They are fake nice until something isn’t to their liking. HORRIBLE experience.
Sat on a tiny table. We were 2 ppl and squashed into a wall with the next family so close to us their baby kept leaning from the high chair to our table. There was no room for our food so they waiters took food away from the table when we weren't even done! The waiters were so rude when we asked what items in the menu was. Never going back there again. So expensive for mediocre food and service.
A kosher institution in London and a must visit if you're looking for the best kosher asain food in the UK. The menu is extensive with plenty of options for everyone. You cannot go wrong with the duck pancakes or smoked shredded chicken. It is very expensive but there is no where else like kaifeng, and with the amazing service it is no surprise this place is fully booked every single night of the week. Would love for them to open a second fast food style location with lower prices - London needs this! Overall highly recommended
If you like Chinese food, this is the place! And the Strawberry Daiquiri cocktail is a must try!!Food: 5/5
Seemingly the customer is always wrong here! I found the female manager a dragon of a woman - I found not one but two non edible parts of chicken in my chicken with black bean sauce, I believe they might have both been bone. The first time she aggressively told me it was not bone - it was fat! I have never had hard fat before! The second bone I bit on, I was scared to tell her incase I got told off again! When I got to the exit - I showed the bone and told her as much. She showed it to her boss Mr Kaifeng I assume who both said it wasn’t bone, I have taken pictures of it. This meal for 8 of us cost well over £500 and the flavours were good, but if the customer service was better - it’s about how you make the customer feel -not just about protecting your business from lawsuits. Other restaurants might have compensated some of the bill and apologised but in a kosher restaurant the customer is always wrong. For an extra bitter taste- when leaving, I waited outside and the manager gave my young son a Chinese lantern full of sweets and 3 lollipops - he was instructed to give one to your mother to make her happy! That is so patronising and insinuating that I was just an irate customer - as opposed to a badly treated one who found not one but two bones in her meal!
Great food, decor, ambiance, and even a waiter with a great voice who is training to be an opera singer! Dietary restrictions: Kosher
This is by far the Premier Kosher restaurant in London by far. We are treated like Royalty by the incredible owner and is amazing team. Kay is always on hand to to make sure that things are well presented and to add that extra class. This restaurant deserves all the accolades it can get and is worthy of a Michelin Star.Food: 5/5
Omg! The esthetic, the service , the food?! Wow talk about all in 1 perfect! The atmosphere is so nice, the staff are so helpful with choosing the best dishes, they r so polite and make u feel amazing. I will definitely come again.
We have been there many times before and enjoyed our experience but this time the service was not the same... the waiter did not speak properly English and could not describe when asking what any dish got inside... would recommend as per food but not if u looking for service
