We bought our first car from John, very nice and approachable, he let us try almost every single car he had available since being quite tall doesn't allow me to fit in most cars, but he was extremely accommodating and never felt like we were pushed to make a purchase. We settled for a nice Focus, and even afterwards the buying process was very easy to deal with. When we went to collect the car he picked us up at the nearest train station as well, and the whole experience was extremely positive! Absolutely recommend this small dealership, you'll never feel you're urged to buy and everyone is just very helpful and the little doggy Molly is a small cuddle ball as well!.
I recently part exchanged my car at Orchard Mill and found Chris so helpful. He answered all my questions thoroughly and made sure the car was exactly as described before it was sold to me. A really great experience and I would definitely buy a car from Chris again in the future.
The guys here are so friendly and helpful. No hard sell and leave you to browse at leisure. Every car seller needs to up their game to beat how good these guys are. Who knew the best way to sell a car was to have the cutest office dog.
I bought a Vauxhall Corsa automatic from Chris at Orchard Mill a few days ago and can safely say it was the best experience of buying a car that I’ve ever had. I was more or less sold on the car before the test drive as it was clearly lovely and it great condition, made to look brand new inside and out. He let me and my dad test drive the car, and didn’t feel any pressure to drive within any boundaries - much more relaxing than any other test drive I’ve had. Car was perfect so put deposit down. In the next few days, he then redid MOT although it hadn’t expired so wasn’t necessary a service, as well as replace 3 tyres and brake pads despite them only being advisories. On the morning of picking the car up, he washed it for me. Chris and the rest of Orchard Mill went totally above and beyond to make my car feel like it was brand new inside and out, and I’ve honestly never been so chuffed with a car nor the experience of a sales company! Thank you so so much. You have made me very happy :
Dealt with both Chris and John - outstanding lads who are friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Not only sold me a car, but sold me a dream! 100% recommend.
very frivolous! I went to them with a problem with the front wheel, after a month of driving very little with it, my car brakes on its own when I don't accelerate it, some very bad noises from the wheel and the wheels heat up. I went to them and they did a test drive but they told me that it was not their problem without checking it in the service department. now I made an appointment elsewhere waiting for an answer to the problem. Now I have to be without my car for a few weeks until the problem is fixed and I also have a big bill to pay

An absolute faultless experience from start to finish. A very tidy, well presented business premises in a great location with a good range of vehicles on show. John made this purchase so easy dealing with all the necessary paperwork including 12 months AA cover. Truly professional approach from John without any pressure. Very happy with my purchase and I certainly will be making them my first port of call when I need my next car. Highly recommended!
I do not think a Car should be advertised as having a full MOT when it doesn’t. A bit sneaky I would say! I would happily for that to be done but I don’t think that is permitted.
Just bought a Volvo from John Hubbard of Orchard Motors. So easy, everything clean and in place, paperwork ready, tax and payment easily done and all with a wonderful smile. Would highly recommend John to anyone looking for a good quality, fairly priced second hand car.
