Booked online, got all the confirmations via email and text. When I arrived at the pub they couldn’t find my booking but found us a table. Food is bang average and nothing special. Staff are rushed off their feet and do just about enough to acknowledge you without a smile, which is understandable they are very busy. Interior design is awful!
What a wonderful neighbourhood gem! Second visit and we like it even more. Food, service and ambience on point. Beautiful decor, pleasant music and relaxed atmoshere. Outside is lovely, too. There is a garden for warm days, a pond, parking all surrounded by green spaces Food: 5/5
First time here, but what a lovely location. It was a lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere and lovely cocktails a lot of lovelys . It had a nice non alcohol cider, and the bar staff brought over the drinks to the table even though the bar was fairly busy. We could have had food at the bar but preferred to wait to eat in the restaurant and the service was equally friendly. You did have to get the attention of staff or you could be waiting a while. Nothing major and the food was lovely. The seabass was well cooked and had a nice fresh taste. The slow cooked pork was also really good, although I would have preferred a little more salt, but I understand not everyone would agree and with the gravy, it was near perfect I'd definitely recommend and will be back
Superb staff, beautiful gastropub with plush furniture, private function room and very extensive menu. We ended up going 2 days in a row and enjoyed the brilliant lunch menu. Highly recommend the fish and chips which was very crispy and a huge portion. Reasonably priced lunch set menu with good choices.
Went for a birthday dinner there, the starters and the mains were absolutely delicious! But unfortunately cream brulé and lemon tart for dessert were very disappointing, almost as if they were brought from nearest shop. I was also surprised to read about special birthday treat on the website if you register your details. I've never received any emails about that.

We have visited Orange Tree many times and love the food and coffee. Staff are friendly and polite. I have a birthday treat as being a member and was treated a free 3-course meal. This visit was as good quality as before plus save money. We will come more often.Food: 5/5
Had a lovely dinner at The Orange Tree on Thursday, the pub was busy, but not packed. I went with a group of friends, one whom had just arrived from overseas. Plenty of parking at the pub and getting to it was very easy. Atmosphere inside was very comfortable and relaxing. The food was very good, we tried the artesian bread board for a starter and then had the pie, halibut, prawn salad and thr lamp rump, this was followed by the apple tart and thr chocolate bomb, all fantastic. My friend even commented that the pie was the best he has ever had. The drinks were also good, the fruit cider was something they have never tasted before. For me I ordered the honeycomb hot chocolate and well it was luxurious. Overall a fantastic night and will certainly come back.
Tegan was amazing and very tentative. She was very professional and friendly and made the evening extra special. The food and drink were delicious. Thank you Tegan for a great eveningFood: 5/5
