The atmosphere was amazing but the food didn't quite meet my expectations. The set menu was alright, but not impressive. The sharing board was good, but too salty. The Salmon Rillettes were nice as a starter. The Pan Fried Sea Bass was tasty and light but was kind of lacking flavour and felt under seasoned. Not that impressed. I would recommend everyone to order from the main menu instead as I've been to Cote before in other locations in the UK and the food was always amazing.
Was recommended here. Place has a cosy atmosphere and the staff where attentive with quick service. There where three if us & we all are from the Pre fixed menu, which had a good selection & seemed good.value. Starters where Wild mushroom soup, Pear & Goat xheese salad and pork terrine, all well presented & tasty. Main courses where Seabass, Steak frites & an upgraded £3 8oz Ribeye steak with extra Pepper corn sauce, the steaks & fish where cooked well, however my mother found the bean that came with her fish a little under cooked. One on the items for desert was sold out since all had Pavlova which was fun. Over all a good experience & value for money, so would recomemd.
Delicious brunch but the service was dire. No one knew who was doing what - we were forgotten for 10 minutes, and that was after being treated with disinterest when we asked for brunch menus at 12, when brunch is on till 1230. We were then offered drinks twice. The manager ? offered me coffee on the house, but that never turned up! French toast and croque monseiur were lovely although £1.75 for a grilled tomato "side" was ridiculous - the kitchen staff are being let down by the servers. I won't rush back.
The food here is always marvellous and the setting and management are spot on. Great service
As always, an absolute wonderful experience. My favourite here is the " caramel creme cake", but now I tried also " Coq au vin" and it was an very pleasent dish, full of taste and flavours. I recomend Coté Brasserie at any given hour, 100 %. I am sold !Food: 5/5
We had such a lovely dinner with excellent service. We are group of 7 but everything came on time, no long waiting for drinks nor food. Children enjoyed their food so were the adults. The old fashion cocktail is to die for. So so yum. Thanks
Wonderful place to eat. Had veg and vegan breakfast. Tasted nice. Warm welcome. It was well docrated place. Nice staff and fast service. Price was £10 for each breakfast. Could have added hashbrown and beans in vegetarian breakfast. Would recommend to go. Very clean place to eat
Arrived and claimed that we were not expected even though I had an email confirmation. They did provide a table quickly and served us drinks. The starters arrived in a timely manner, the main course for two people in the group were cool going cold and a side dish had not been heated correctly and was replaced. The fish stew was tasty but two chicken dishes were not the best. Pudding was taken by two and received a thumbs up. I will return but not in rush.
It's fine. You know what you're getting and what you're getting is centrally-controlled, committee-designed, perfectly nice, utterly unspecial meals in a dining room that's been focused grouped out of all personality. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is fine. The drinks are fine. There are countless better restaurants in Cheltenham.
Most of the food was lovely but the Shepard's pie was very shallow, with not much meat for the price. The restaurant is lovely and the menu is good with lots of choice, but I was really disappointed with the service and the atmosphere. There were plenty of staff but they didn't seem to want to be there and they took far too long to clear plates. It was a shame.
