Couldn't enter store during the supposed open hours. They close early regularly due to lazyness.
Staff could not be more helpful. Went to do a Hermes parcel, machine was playing up. Lovely young lady in the shop spent ages helping but we had to give up in the end - machine was having a moment. Nevertheless she was so helpful, polite and patient. Thank you.
All good. They had everything I needed. Prices lower than those of the supermarket at the gas station.
We use this shop for Sunday paper regularly & I have noticed the hand sanitising trolley has been moved over to the right out of eyeline of all who enter the shop. I asked the girl on the till if it would be better placed at the door. I also phoned the lady manager, her response was 'we cant make people use it'-- its a dereliction of Onstops customers safety & the manager has no regard for her own staff or the people of Tewkesbury.
The shop assistant that works there is probably the most sullen and rude person I have ever encountered. It seems everything is a chore and she looks as if she hates working there. Hardly a smile or a please or a thank you or have a nice day. I wonder if head office know how many customers she is putting off.
The manager is a sunken ship, someone breath some life into her. I ordered some cider, larger, for a party, went in, she looked at me and shook her head after i picked this up, left to right in disapproval as she shakes her head. i checked out with my business card and she slams the larger and cider in the basket, sometimes on the counter, little as it was, counter wise. My lodger went in before this, asked for a carrier bag, she responds, what happened to the last one, he said, lost it, another grim face, just quit if you are unhappy. I was going to leave the comment above like that, but to be honest, no idea what is up, but going to do a youtube video, so you can see this for yourselves, like torture going in when she is working. if you remember kitchen nightmares, see this. Will update when on youtube.
Get a receipt and check it!! My daughter wasn't given a receipt for for purchase and got stung as additional £45 was taken from her bank account. Over 2 months later and still not been dealt with by them!!
