Had the mixed selection barbecue set today with spicy seafood stew. The prawns were fresh, the beef melt in my mouth, the pork belly was well-marinated, loved the lamb as well. I hoped there was more soup in the seafood stew, but it had lots of seafood and tofu within so that's delicious as well. Reasonable price, will definitely return! There's a long queue during dinner hours, but the service is relatively quick and good.
A Korean Barbecue restaurant in the heart of London, Near Piccadilly Station and Soho. Brings the traditional and unique style of Korean cuisine. Some of the plates you will cook it yourself, but don’t worry! All the waiters are always aware and will help you anytime, so you can eat relaxed. I must say that the service is one of the best I’ve ever had, from the beginning till the end. A highlight to Phyo for granting such a good service, thank you. Absolutely recommended, it won’t let you down, also the food is really tasty and more when you cook it yourself.
Pros: Amazing food at an amazing price! The most affordable A5 I've seen. An amazing meal overall. Con: Service wasn't the best. One of the servers just kept staring us down the entire meal standing a meter away, and forgetting to bring things we requested despite hovering right there. I know we're handsome lads but he's gotta calm down.
Great friendly service ~ quick and neat! We had 2PORK BELLY, 1SALCHI SAL & 1SPICY COLD KOREAN NOODLE with 2 extra bowl of white rice. Simply the best meal we had in 7days ….Can't believe found this place on our last day!! Approved & Recommended, thank you Ollie BBQ ~!
Excellent attention to customers and service was beyond helpful and friendly. The beef Bulgogi was the highlight, it was so flavourful. However the fried chicken was too oily and the meat itself was a bit too soft. The tteokbokki was soft and delicious with a cheesy taste. Overall we enjoyed a nice lunch here and would come back again.
Do not recommend. You can find much better Korean restaurants in London. This restaurant has only one good thing that it’s located in middle of Soho. Sadly that’s it. Fried chicken was horrible. Couldn’t even finished them all. Chewy meats and it was very stale. There was no taste of it. Tteokbokki was ok but below average. Not even restaurant quality. It looks nice with all the barbecue gadgets when you look at it from outside but I regret going here. Please find another KR restaurant.
Honestly, it wasn't much. There is a good enough variety of choices for the meat, but I found the quality to be average. We had the selection B, to which we added to Ox tongue, and steamed rice. The service was sufficient they came several times to clean the griddle, but we had to remind the staff for the steamed rice more than once. Therefore, I find this place quite expensive for the quality of the food and the service offered. I will not come again.
Came here with a friend, we hadn't booked but didn't have to wait long for our table. We had the Olle selection A which was more than enough for the 2 of us. Staff are really attentive and came over to refill our water and make sure the next bit was cooking while we were finishing off the previous part. I thought it would be really warm but they had fans and Aircon around the room which really helped with all the BBQs going. Would definitely come back and definitely recommend it.
It was a so so for me. We queue for 30 minutes since they do not open reservation , but it was quite fast because they have time limit to eat, which is 1.5 hours If you want to enjoy the memories to eat, I dont recommend to go here, when you order BBQ, the staff will always cook all the meat for you with no break They indirectly kick us with giving us the bill and staring at us The food itself, I really love the BBQ, careful to choose the meat, there are some with so many fat, but the marinated was amazing The japchae was not my favorite since it is very sweet, also the fried chicken was delicious, but i was not quite sure whether it cooked well or not You can see from the picture, the meat was pink Do not order the fried rice !! It doesnt worth your money Also in terms of money, it is too expensive
The food at Olle BBQ was amazing! We ordered the ox tongue, bulgogi, thinly sliced brisket, wagyu A5 beef rib eye, spicy beef soup and cold noodles! The cold noodles and spicy beef soup were amazing and went very well with the meal. A few days later we went back for lunch, just to have the cold noodles again! Unfortunately nothing is included, unlike in Korea were you get free sides and stuff. We had to order the kimchi and lettuce separately. The ventilation is also not very good in the restaurant, so expect to smell like Korean BBQ the whole day. Also be prepared and call to book a table in advance. There was a long queue in front of the restaurant, we were able to skip this since we booked a table. Wheelchair accessibility: Only if they have a table available for you on the ground floor
