"At The Old Vicarage pub, you’ll find genuine pub people pouring perfect beer and serving great British food. From our succulent burgers and satisfying grills to our superb Red Tractor farm-assured roast chicken, we’ve got something for every palate—and all in a truly relaxed, familiar atmosphere. Come in for a superb pint of real ale, a glass of wine, or something softer from our well-stocked bar. Chat with our friendly staff. And stay for a meal created from fresh ingredients and finished with clever little embellishments. We’re proud of our food, which is responsibly procured and served to please. Leave room for dessert! Our puds are to die for, whether you’re a traditionalist or a lover of modern food."

Friendly staff, very accommodating. Always something happening be it Lloyd's quiz or bingo. Dog friendly, they even offer blankets, treats and a water bowl for your four legged friend. A wide choice on the menu, never had a problem getting a table
I went here for a family meal and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The service was outstanding as the staff were so friendly and amazing. The food amazing quality for the price changed, the presentation was impeccable. I definitely recommend going there, as the Waitress Fern who served us was so polite and friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Im definitely going to be a repeat customer!!!!
14 family members went tonight we all had mains puddings and drinks, came out quickly altogether and tasted amazing. We were served by Lucy , Connor, Fearne, Paul and Emma, brilliant customer service, great value for money. Would definitely recommend
We booked a table for 6 on a Saturday Evening here as we couldn't get a table at our usual place. We'd not been before so weren't sure what to expect. We found the staff very busy but also very polite and friendly. We couldn't fault our meals and desserts and there were empty plates from us all. Thank you so much and we shall certainly return.
Lovely staff food brilliant. Owner was really nice as well
Food was lovely. My only minor issue is that I was with a party of around 12 people and despitefully requesting that the meals arrived at the same time this did not happen. That said we all enjoyed our evening.
All I can say is fabulous!!!! 5 star all the way . Like to go in as staff are all very friendly , there’s nothing that they wouldn’t do for you , most of the time served by Gemma who always has time to great you with a smile and a chat. Been coming here now for a number of years and we’ve always found it to be a pleasant atmosphere.
What is the point of this place? They've got a new policy of closing the kitchen whenever they feel like it, so unless you've booked it's completely unreliable. Twice we've turned up for food 7.30pm and 8.15 and twice turned away, so we won't bother again. There are better restaurants in the area, just not as close.
First time visitor and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Food was delicious and staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items. Well worth a visit
After a day shopping at Fosse Park looking for somewhere local to have a meal and came across this Beautiful Pub only 5 minutes away. Under new Management and needing a little refurbing which is in the pipeline it has a warm & village feel about it. The new Landlady Andrea has already introduced a lot of Fun events with more to come. She has introduced a Dog friendly area for those out walking that fancy a Drink or even a meal. Andrea is very Welcoming, Friendly and efficient, along with her Team of Staff. The food is amazing and great value for the amount and quality you receive. The menu has so much choice it was difficult to choose, the 3 of us all had different meals and were not disappointed at all. Whilst we were there the Pub started filling up nicely and we were told this was the busiest Saturday the Pub had seen in a long time with Andrea being there only a few weeks. If you are in the area and want somewhere to eat or just have a drink, visit The Old Vicarage. You won’t be disappointed.
