The Dry Dock
"A welcoming and informal bar in a student area, open from breakfast 'til the early hours. A great place to relax, meet new friends and join in activities such as quizzing and retro-gaming. It is also an ideal place to watch the big games on TV whilst eating and drinking from street food influenced menus"

A bit overpriced on average but the position is very convenient for the two student accommodations around it. The pub itself looks good, the boat theme works very well but they forgot to give my mate the dinner he ordered. When we asked again they said the kitchen was already closed.
Decent pub. Drinks prices are OK but not amazing. Lots of TVs showing football and usually good music playing. Gets very busy around matches. Serves usual scream food which is very tasty and fairly reasonably priced. Worth a visit for the novelty but unexceptional otherwise.
Really nice food here, reasonable prices. If you're a contractor working in Leicester reading this, you won't be disappointed. Perfect for students too, three pool tables and games machines, plenty of tables and tv's. If the weather is nice the roof can be slid across to eat in the open. Lovely place
Love this place. Great pub. Great price. Free parking, unless it's a match day then they charge you.... cheek really that it is. Toilets need refreshing... staff friendly.. food is ok.. Pay for what you get. Good pint.
Quite a down-market place. A student bar that's not really been looked after. The barman told me it's closing down soon anyway. The pool tables are badly located and our one was about as flat as the Himalayas. Cues were damaged and the balls had chips out of them. Beer was flat but at least it wasn't expensive. Probably avoid this place unless a dive bar is your sort of thing.
We watched the england v Australia rugby game on saturday afternoon, great atmosphere without being too busy. A pint of real ale was £2.30 a pint, so has to be 5 stars. Shame it's closing in a year
Went on a quiet Sunday, it was obvious that the young lady who served us didn't want to be there as everything seemed too much of an effort for her. Hadn't been for a while and the place looks a little tired, the food decently priced but average at best.
I ate at the dry dock on 04/06/15 at lunchtime. I ordered the scream chicken burger, went I went in to order the bar staff and a man with dreadlocks went shouting at each other ‘f***king c**t’. When the burger arrived it was undercooked, not raw but had the distinctive texture of rubber than undercooked chicken has. I spoke to the man with dreadlocks who was clearing up plates who later turned out to be the chef. He was rude and dismissive and told me I was wrong. By this point I had eaten half the burger and it was clearly visible that the middle of the breast was undercooked. I said to him that I could taste this and it was clearly visible but he still wouldn’t listen. I didn’t eat the rest of the burger. The next morning I felt quite unwell and vomited. I will never go back to Dry Dock, not because of the food, I understand that these things can happen but because of the way I was belittled by the chef.
Excellent service, great staff and good beer. Deffo recommend. Can't get any better than a pub that's a boat!
Haven't been here for ages it's a lovely place in the shape of a boat hence the name dry dock prices are reasonable she put on a Wednesday I think the Promotion is called quids in where you get certain drinks for £1 best to go in the summertime then you can enjoy a drink with your mates in the sunshine on the patio or at the top Deck of the boat itself very well recommended typical student Hangout pool tables bandits music machine brilliant place
