I have been a fan of this place for a long time. Great food and a good selection of beers. My little one loved the fact that it was dog friendly whilst I watched the football on the big screen. Two areas, both family friendly, just one a bit posher than the other for special occasions. Pool table is also in great nick and only costs 50p! Would recommend whenever someone goes to Ulverston

Parking was sufficient, but despite the place having but a few visitors, it took almost an hour for our food to arrive. I don't normally mind if food takes a little longer, but it had been nice if staff had kept us informed and perhaps offered another tea/coffee. Otherwise, the firnishing of the establishment is tasteful and very comfortable.

Went for a midweek lunch with my wife and baby and was very impressed with food quality and value. If I was to pick one fault however it would be a lack of a childrens menu that could make dining with older children difficult. Overall a lovely dining experience though and will come back

Went for lunch , very busy, large party in plus general people coming in. Only one girl doing literally everything, from taking orders to clearing tables. Rushed off her feet. People at next table left. Another had to ask for their meal having finished starters ages ago. Food was great when it did arrive and young lady very apologetic, not her fault!! Surely management must check reservations every day and bring staff in. Hope lady got merit deserved on running the restaurant alone. Finally a man did start to help, once she had everyone sorted. !! He seemed to be hiding out in the bar. Have been few times now , this is first time had a long wait , hopefully won't be a repeat.
