This has a nice cafe to get some lunch. Scones and tea available with jacket potatoes and sandwiches. The shop is not your standard farm shop. Eggs and some vege, lollies and jams but that's it.

We love this farm shop, definitely recommend the duck eggs. We also had breakfast in the tea room/cafe. There was a big menu with variety. Would return

Warm and welcoming hosting. Food very good, each component balancing against the others and standing out itself. Side dish salads were beautifully fresh and tasty as was Eton mess dessert and all the trade mark dishes I thought it lived up to ithe reputation that attracted us to go there, and will be recommending it all round. Ferny Hill Farm I live about 5 minutes drive away from Ferny Hill but my last visit was in early spring this year. Around the late 1990s / early 2000s, I used to visit the farm regularly for breakfast or stop by for ice cream with my daughter. The tea room is situated on Ferny Hill / Hadley Road; about a mile from Cockfosters. Everything about the farm is great; the rural setting, the beautiful view across the field, the adjacent farm shop and more. Unfortunately, the food and the beverages on offer are disappointing and not in anyway better from those on the back street café. There was no fresh orange juice on offer, only the concentrated type. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic and tranquil place to stop by and a great place for home made organic produce.

Another great meal at Gastronomical, Chris Georgiou's pop up, open here 4 nights a week. Excellent burgers and sides and desserts. Very friendly and good value.
