This is a lovely restaurant in the Marble Arch area. It serves authentic Bengali north-eastern Indian food. The restaurant has a great ambience. The staff was kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. The menu has a great mix of vegetarian and meat dishes, and some really nice cocktails. I would highly recommend!
What a wonderful evening, hosted by Bengali folk made all the difference. I really appreciated the personal touch of the chef meeting us and making recommendations. The food was really good. Good wine list too.
Great tasting Indian food, definitely not like your other standard Indian places, a lot more unique and very flavourful. The chicken curry was very creamy and super aromatic. The lamb one was earthy and spicy. The Dahl was absolutely delicious, super rich and creamy, exactly how it should be. Overall great food. It was, however, very expensive for an Indian restaurant, and for the price I would have expected something mot special
What a beautiful restaurant! The flavours from each dish was incredible, we were impressed from the moment we walked in and by all starters, mains and desserts...oh and cocktails! The service was so lovely too and very friendly and thoughtful. We will definitely be coming again. Absolutely amazing!
I especially planned to go only there to have a dinner and it was great without any doubt. The ambience, the food, the hosting, the service each thing was perfect. As a Bengali I always crave for Bengali food and Chourangi fulfilled my craving. Much recommended place to have a special dinner with family and friends.
New bengali restaurant in Marble Arch! The restaurant interiors were quite true to the theme and the food was absolutely delicious! Not spicy, very palatable. A must visit for Bengal food lovers.
Loved our dinner here. Food was different than other Indian restaurants in London and yet everything we tried was so delicious - cocktails, starters, mains, sides, dessert. I would really recommend the vodka aam panna. Staff was super attentive and service was super on-point. The interiors are very elegant and together with the lighting provide a comfortable setting for food. We had a great time, and will visit again for our next occasion. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available.
We went here for our dad's birthday. Had heard a lot ofngood reviews and thought we would check it out. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Very classy. The location is good for parking, near station so easy to get to. The service was amazing and we even got to meet one of the owners who was really lovely. The food was tasty and we really enjoyed it. The only downside for us was that there wasn't a lot of vegetarian options that weren't paneer related therefore their vegan options were very very limited. Personally I wouldn't go back again unless they incorporated more vegetarian/Vegan options. The restaurant was busy and there wasn't a single table free at any given time so I can only assume that their meat dishes are a hit.
Lip smacking food and perfect ambience. Celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday and had an amazing time with close friends over dinner. Their service is really good and so is the food. The prices is slightly on the higher side, costing £40pp at least, but highly recommend it for an evening out with family and friends. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.
Went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. The food was very tasty, and very Eastern Indian with all the right spice levels. The service was excellent, and Dibayan did a fantastic job! The prawn cutlet was amazingly crispy and flavorful. They even offered luchi, something they didn't have on the menu and were trying out. We were pretty full towards the end of it, but despite that the mango curd was simply mouth watering. 10/10 will visit again! Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
