An excellent family night out. We had a person in a wheelchair with us and were accomodated in one of the private booths, but I feel we could have been sitting anywhere else as the place is spacious. Our baby was in a highchair provided and was fussed about not less than all of us. Great selection of well cooked food and fine wines, the cocktails looked good, the service was top notch. Thank you
Very glad that Cinnamon Culture found new premises after their move from Bromley. The new restaurant in Chislehurst is every bit as good. Food is delicious, with some great dishes that move away from what you might expect from an Indian restaurant. The ostrich starter is a particular treat. Difficult to select other standout dishes as they are all so tasty! Service is brilliant and all the staff are very friendly. An absolute gem and worth visiting again and again! Vegetarian options: Good selection of veggie options for all courses and all very tasty! Dietary restrictions: Plenty of dishes for those requiring gluten free diet my daughter is a coeliac, including a gluten free chapati.
Way too spicy! We went for a romantic meal and the hospitality and cocktails were amazing but there wasn’t a single dish that wasn’t horrendously spicy. Even the salad was covered in a spicy seasoning. I started to feel quite nauseas as a result of this and felt so disappointed. I recommend offering mild dishes too and then it’s a definite 5 star!
Firstly I want to thank the staff for being so polite and friendly. They accommodated us despite being so close to kitchen being closed . And really appreciate them being so kind throughout . Ambience - it's really nice ambience and a lovely decor . Food - drinks and starters were really nice and so were the desserts . Mains were a bit disappointing as they did feel a bit rushed and catered to local crowd rather than being authentic Indian food . For the overall money paid it did feel on significantly higher side .
Attended with my family and my brothers girlfriend’s family. It was such a fantastic evening, the food was delicious and the staff were all extremely attentive. The owner of the restaurant was a delight to be around. Would highly recommend visiting!
Great lunch menu, with a lovely selection of small plates and salad toppings. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Trying cocktails is a must. Friendly, attentive service. My new favourite neighbourhood restaurant.
A nice atmosphere and really good service. Food is delicious, will recommend even if you not very familiar with Indian cuisine. They will help you with your order. A bit of fusion, but nice.
Still the best Indian restaurant this side of the river....if not the whole of the UK. I don't understand some of the reviews regarding spice level being too high, if you want bland Indian food you're best suited to the run of the mill take aways and restaurants found easily in most towns. The spice level here is one which will give the diner a true representation of the pleasure Indian food can deliver when cooked right!! Cinnamon culture uses the best quality meats from the finest suppliers in London, I know as I've seen the delivery vans from my favourite butcher outside many a time! Over 90% of Indian restaurants use Mutton instead of the far more expensive Spring Lamb alternative, especially when minced as people can't tell and many don't know the difference. The portion size and price can only be compared when matching like for like, yes in these harder times people are more selective about where they spend their hard earned money......for me I'd much rather visit this establishment twice a month than go to my grubby local every weekend!! I've dined here 100s of times and had just as many takeaways, the staff are always friendly. Most places I dine at have had big staff turnovers since the pandemic, Cinnamon seems to have a core team who are quite new and young but each week I see improvements and have had no need to complain about anything. I would strongly strongly recommend this restaurant but go with an open mind and not with the intention of expecting a hearty meal for the same price as somewhere like Raj Moni, or Mitee which are at least 9 levels below! Vegetarian options: Great veg options, not just your standard easy dishes , many imaginative different takes on some traditional dishes
There is a lot to say about this place but it would spoil the tasteful experience. All anyone needs to know is that Cinnamon Culture has beautifully presented, deliciously tasting Indian food, with a twist. Perfectly modern. The service is really great too. Definitely worth more then one visit.
Great Vegan options. The beetroot dumplings were outstanding! This is not your average high street Indian.
