Avoid! Bought a pair of shoes from here online. When I received they were clearly worn and 2nd hand. Feel like someone elses shoes! Photos attached. Clearly worn. I received them dirty in an old beat up box with laces undone, without tags attached and stuffing paper not even inside the shoes. Almost like a joke to try and pass these off as new I own 2 other pairs of Astorflex which are in better condition after a year of usage! Contacted the shop about it and while they would provide a refund, they refused to cover VAT costs that I wont be refunded. Believe covering all costs incurred would be the best way to solve this. Take your business elsewhere. Update 1: - store refuse to acknowledge the fact these shoes were not new - have now started to feign indignation - accuse me of hostility due to not accepting that these shoes actually belong to someone else - have been closed in finding a fair solution
Haven’t been in for years but really pleased with how friendly and helpful the guys were. Sorted me out with a lovely pair of Mephisto’s in green. Will be back soon, thanks.
Shame about the lining up system from ppl who have nothing to do with the shop. The 1s who decide which order ppl get there shoe's and also put all there mates names down 1st so they can sell them on eBay . But the Staff at the shop were friendly and also helpful.
AVOID the online shop - absolute scam and a shambles of customer service. They didn't send all the items that I ordered and tried to blame the courier for not delivering. A month later and they still haven't accepted fault or offered a refund, so I'm now having to go through my bank to recover the £150 of undelivered goods. Shocking Customer Service too - made me do all the admin & paperwork for the investigation. Useless. The actual shop in Manchester is great though.
I’ve shopped here for years. My favourite shop in Manchester. The best menswear you’ll find in Manchester guarantee it. There’s something for everyone, higher end gear, designer, street wear, sports wear, casual and many others. The shop is always decked out for what season we’re in but also have some old season gear in the back. Just have to ask one of the sales assistants who are very helpful and offer the best service that they can, very friendly and understanding. But I can admit it’s gotten better over the past year. So if you’ve not been for a while because of the staff I’d recommend giving it another go because the service has improved a lot! The website can be hit and miss I have to be honest but most things you see online will be in store also, so trying things on first is always a good option as expensive gear like this you want it to fit right and get the most wear out of it as possible. Overall a great shop fun, friendly, casual but professional environment!
We were in Manchester to watch the United match over xmas and stumbled onto this shop on our walkabouts. What a place to shop as my husband and son were very impressed and found lots of nice things. Will definitely make a trip from he South to here again as the staff and atmosphere are just amazing. Thanks you for looking after us.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 25yr in manchester. The staff are unhelpful, arrogant and unprofessional. The staff dont smile, or say hello as you walk into the store, instead they look at customers in a disapraging manner. I was trying to purchase a pair of Birkenstocks in size 11, the guy behind the till did not once look up from his phone. All they had left was a size 8, and he kept telling me i should try them on as they are a "big fit". No wonder they are closing down. You are much better off shopping at END - far superior in every way!
AVOID - don't send all your items and refuse to resolve. I used to shop here often and it was one of my go to places when shopping in town. However, I have had terrible experiences with their customer service. They sent a parcel with missing and incorrect items and refused my claim, despite providing evidence. I've had to escalate this to trading standards to resolve.
Overpriced store with uncompetitive rates. The yeti rambler bottle, for example, is only 18 oz for £30, yet I was able to get the larger 26 oz for £30 elsewhere. I don’t think all the staff are that welcoming, after blanking my friend who said hello as she entered, though I was pleasantly surprised the last time I visited.
Since the new website was updated its gone rubbish. Customer service is terrible ordered a Battenwear bag 6 days ago not heard a thing and you can never get through on the phone but they have taken the money. OI POLLOI you need to get back to basics and start sorting everything out Isobel from customer care sorted this and has been fantastic
