Great Service and Convenient Self-Checkout I had a fantastic experience shopping at River Island. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who assisted both me and my wife. The self-checkout option was a convenient feature, making the shopping process smooth and efficient. Highly recommend this store for its attentive service and modern amenities.
This was a fantastic store to go shopping at, with a large area that is navigable through the signs for the categories! The escalators help to get around, the men's section is well laid out with a wide range and there is a good number of changing rooms. I bought smart casual trousers and was served by a lovely lady, who was really helpful in advising me what to wear when I asked questions! The price was sensible too and the store is well decorated.
Awful shopping experience because the music was so incredibly loud! Even through my noise cancelling headphones it was too loud. And not even nice relaxing music, it was very chaotic and drove me insane. From most clothes only very small sizes in the store. However, I must say the fitting rooms are revolutionary. I can't even explain it, just go and try it because it's amazing.
I was in the Manchester Arndale store today. Emilia, who was working in the fitting rooms was absolutely amazing. I needed a different size and she went above and beyond to ensure I got the right sizes. Will definitely visit this store again.
A couple of weeks of ago on a Friday I was in this store and I lost my hand bag I was so upset but the VN team and the other staff where amazing they all had so much empathy. They sat me down and calm me down while they where locking for it and thankful it was found I could not thank each member of staff for the kindness they showed me. Such an amazing team how they looked after me Thank you again VN TEAM
The staff is extremely rude and has no consideration for customers concerns. When the store was closing the door were locked without any warning announcement as done by many reputed stores. When I mentioned this the security person became agitated and said we don’t need to. Is the way to talk to your customers if anyone is giving a genuine feedback? How can they get angry for such a simple question?
Absolutely shocking & disgusting behaviour today at Riverisland by one of their staff members in the kids department. Went in to shop with my partner and 2 young kids under the age of 4. Straight to the kids section to look for kids clothes. I stood by till as to my right they had some sunglasses on display. Whilst trying on some shades with my 4 year old as he was looking at the mirror on to his left, same side as till, I noticed the mirror was covered by a rail of clothing, noticed a sudden change in my sons behaviour, because he probably seen a very not so delightful face that came and shoved a rail rack in his view. So I noticed a assistant working, stayed quiet thinking she probably didn't notice me or my pram with ny kids, maybe she'll move, but nope she continues, could also feel the awful negative energy from her. So i moved the rail rack out of the way, so we can continue to use the mirror, but nope she turned around & aggressively moves the rail back Infront of the mirror to this point, I spoke up and said excuse me I'm using that mirror, and she moved the rail back with a great deal of effort, no eye, seemed very angry and says, "oh". That's it nothing else. Absolutely mortified with this horrible attitude, no sorry, nothing, just a "oh"... My son got more upset with seeing this he refused to try on any more glasses, to this we decided to leave. Why did i not go & speak to a manager about it? Because i didn't want any more stress or negativity shown Infront of my kids nor dampen the rest of the day. The assistant was white and had frizzy curly hair. Please check your CCTV, I'm in a big brown long over sized padded coat, time between 3. 00 - 3.15pm 19th of April.. with a black pram with two kids, my partner had a grey hoody on. I really hope this assistant realises what horrible attitude she had and hopes she changes it for the better or please get a new job elsewhere. As her behaviour wasn't friendly & she not only upset me but my 4 year old kid and a loss in sale as we could've easily spent around £200 on Eid clothes, which 9/10 we always purchase. I don't think I'll ever be visiting this store ever again until this matter is taken seriously. Random photo below to show my visit.
I just been ithere and bought two shirts. I was just shocked by the staff. They are very rude. is this the way your employees deal with the costumers? there is a guy behind the till with beard was really rude to me, I won’t come again to this store. the customer service is terrible.
Customers service in this store was absolutely amazing the staff in there are very friendly and helpful whatever you need they help & go beyond there expectation. Good sales this year and u Brought loads of things for aboard so i can send backhome to my family .All the men & Women who work there they slove your problem and find a solution to what i wanted . Thank you very much .
The staff at the counter was busy chatting with each other and forgot to take the special security tag off of the two clothes I bought. I have to go to there again tomorrow. How careless can you be OMG
