The place is very far from any bus stops or underground stations. There is one pub right across the street which is very nice, but is also the only place nearby. The real problem came when their hot water heater broke, even though it is said to be only 5 years old. It happened on Saturday and they said they could not get anyone to fix it until Monday. We asked to be moved for the time as sightseeing without showers doesn't go well. They only agreed to move us for one night. They sent us to one hotel where they said they had booked rooms and turned out they didn't actually have the rooms. The hotel sent us to another one of the hotels they run and we end up being put in rooms the size of closets. Come monday, no one came to fix the heater. We asked to be moved again and they refused, and told us to find a hotel ourselves. Without a phone it was impossible for us to book a room or call a cab. There is only someone here for a couple hours a day and while they are trying to be helpful their company does not care about their renters at all. Also the laundry machines are a joke, and there is no lift. Terrible place, do not trust what they say, you will get screwed.
Great location but our rented flat had issues with a clogged bath sink drain, a toilet with a non-functional flush button, and a non-functional bath vent fan. Thankfully we had two full baths but the issues above became more than inconvenient over time. Otherwise we would have given it 5-stars.
Spent a week here on our honeymoon. We had the downstairs flat near right on the river. Wifi didn't reach there, so we had to go to the top deck, which had a lovely view. The bus stop is confusing to get to, but not bad once you understand the bus system. It's probably under a 10 minute walk to the closest bus stop. The tube station Canada Water is a hike, but the bus goes there so no problem. The Ship & Whale is right next door, which is great. The Mayflower Pub is not too far away either, and is also very good. The Moby Dick is a 10-15 minute walk away as well, and also very lovely. The Tesco nearby is a long walk, but fairly convenient.
Loved it here back in 2013 when I had my vacation. Nice customer service! Also, we had a great view on the porch! Would highly go back here for another vacation.
Visited family, great apartments with fantastic views along with their own gym & swimming pool with views across the Thames.
Spent a wonderful week here. Great view. Tube within walking distance.
My mother phoned up and booked us a room and when we turned up the place was fully booked. Shocking service
