Arlington House Apartments St James’s offers a range of Luxury Serviced Apartments in central London.
The apartments are designed to provide you with a “home from Home” experience with fully equipped kitchens with Miele appliances, a comfortable spacious lounge to relax and unwind, surround sound music system, wide range of Television channels and individually controlled air condition.

Laurent and his team had been very accommodating on our requests during our stay. We should manage our expectations that this property is not a Hotel, we know very well from the price point. This is a decent place in a well situated area in London.
We stayed there for a month & honestly we had a great time especially with the staff as they are very helpfull & nice even though the property is a little bit old & tired. A minor glitch during our stay is that the elevator broke a couple of time. Anyway the reason I don’t want to stay there again comes after I stayed there. I was supposed to receive a package before check out but for some reason it has been delayed until we check out. I informed this to the hotel & ask them to receive the package so that my brother could get it there. The property said they cannot do that & all package will be send back if the guest is no longer there as it’s was the property policy which I completely understand. Once the package is delivered to my surprise they actually accept it on my behalf. I inquired them about it they said they would send it back but wouldn’t tell me when because I don’t have anyway to track the package anymore. They responded to me in a very rude way & not very helpful at all. After I got upset their GM name Liam contacted me & offer to help with my problem but has not followed up on his promise & in the end did not help me at all. I guess once we check out our concern does not matter anymore.
Room was okay, though a bit tired. Was given a smaller room than booked. Service is cheap, for what was expensive accommodation. On arrival I got one set of hotel size toiletries, dishwasher cube and washing cube as a “welcome pack”. I stayed for 10 nights. Never have I stayed anywhere let alone at this cost where I didn’t get shampoo, conditioner and washing liquid to cover the duration on my stay.
We booked a non refundable booking 5 days before our trip in December - for our baby moon. Unfortunately right before flying I got into some complication and we had to postpone our trip by 20 days. We called up Arlington house hoping for some help but it was uncomfortable how the staff spoke to us. Once they banged the phone while I was speaking and were EXTREMELY cocky emphasising on no help will be provided. Even if it’s on medical or humanitarian grounds. We DID NOT want any refund. We just needed a little help with date change or just any help at all. We had multiple bookings made all of which were non refundable as the trip was just a few days away & managed to get help from our hotel in Paris, the euro rail as well as our flights. I had attached all my medical details with doctors prescriptions forbidding me to travel but NOTHING mattered to these guys. Honestly it was disgusting, rude and ruthless how they behaved- topping it up with not helping a pregnant lady who genuinely tried to reach out for a solutions. It’s shocking how the situation was dealt with. Please think a 1000 times before booking these appartments. I travel around the world multiple times a year. Never faced this. Highly disappointed.
Everything changed … it was cleaned 5 times a week, it’s cleaned once a week now; so you will have the bed sheets and towels all over this period of time. Most of the staff are changed. The management and the house keeping are very rude arrogant and disrespectful not professional at all. Decent senior staff I met last October were two only and they were mistreated not respected at all by the new management system, had no proper roles as they used to have before this management, although they are excellent & knowledgeable … I wish I left immediately … but few of us old guestsstayed after finding out about the mess at the present time because of them… two gentle men only Very materialistic they are okay with losing a 10 years plus guests for the sake of insisting on increasing the price of yelling at the guest to leave the apartment. They give the price and want you to pay immediately without giving you the chance to think claiming that it’s the last appartement which was not true. They yelled so bad, called so many times, knocked the door like crazy as if a crime has happened to make me leave before the time they have given to me although I had a very critical health condition which they could see… when ever you tell who ever is calling and knocking to have patience so that you can pack properly and leave they say it’s the manager nagging and calling over and over and I must leave immediately. After weeks of staying and paying in advance that’s what you’d get even if you spent your uni years there… they don’t have any business ethics or decent manners. All they want is money and handing the appartements from a guest to another immediately… I do not recommend staying at the Arlington House Appartements anymore. Never give it a try even if they were giving good rates… You will regret it and surely get humiliated …. I should have called the police due to the danger and harm I was exposed to and the attack to my appartement they were doing and the psychological and physical harm they caused to me. Horrible ! I give them one star for the memories and location only. Nothing else. Do not give it at try you’ll be wasting your time & money, not enjoying your stay at all … and they don’t care or bother to apologize… let alone the discrimination of people is clear They’d treat you well depending on your pocket and position & Nationality too …
The worst hotel in London, I do not recommend it at all. And the worst manger ever!!! I don’t advise any girl to stay alone in this hotel.
big apartment with fully equipped kitchen and AC all over the rooms but some of the furniture are little old, you cannot open the windows and you can hear the other apartments But the reception and the employees are unprofessional and unfriendly They tolde me you can pay 50% of the night price and get later checkout in the last day their manager Luren I think told me to pay a full night to get a later check out
The Manager and the Housekeeping supervisor and staff are extremely rude and impolite. It feels as though they're doing you a favor by giving you a room here. The housekeeping will tell you to not let water get to the floor in the bathroom while the shower tray is extremely small. I had the housekeeping supervising lady walk into my room and ask me to come out of the bathroom in a manner to intimidate me. After I complained to the Manager, he did nothing about it and nor did he have the bathroom cleaned thereafter. Please think twice before booking your stay here. Its ridiculous.
Have stayed here atleast 5 times and initially it used to be good but that’s not the case anymore. The staff are just horrible at this place, the manager and the housekeeping both. I once requested and paid for late checkout and then was screamed at that it’s not possible and I should leave my room. Even after I explained I had a 2 month old with me and was waiting for my husband to pick me up the manager still continued to scream at me and telll me to leave. Some of the apartments are quite old with broken doors and I once found a dirty razor when I checked in. Housekeeping are extremely rude and refuse to provide towels as well. All in all, location is great and apartments are spacious but service is HORRIBLE.
Nice enough place, staff were helpful. Our room looked out onto the courtyard and Green Park. Great location that is just a five minute walk from Buckingham Palace and lots of other historic sites.Rooms: 3/5
