First visit after the Covid-19 restrictions being relaxed and I must say Odeon has taken the correct approach to make their customers feel comfortable. The new booking system is definitely an improvement, as well as the website update. As always, reclining seats and huge screens are the best aspect of the experience. The sound also is not bad at all and the number of screens means that variety of films available is never an issue. Refreshments and snacks are a little pricey, but can't complain as variety and quality is ok. Popcorn sometimes on the stale side but not always. Costa coffee available at this locations as well. Parking is easy and plenty of spots on the streets around as well as a car park next door. Had moved near Maidenhead recently from London and I find this location being one of the better Odeon Luxe's compared to London ones. Overall great experience and if you like going to the cinema regularly it is definitely worth getting a Limitless subscription.
I took my daughter to see Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets. For you best enjoyment of the movie I would suggest that sitting no closer than row 4 as any closer to the screen is too close. The cost of entry tickets was competavive with other cinemas. Refreshments doubled the cost of the visit, which I feel to be off-putting. That said I strongly recommend this cinema: If you do go tell them that Niall sent you, they really won't know who you are talking about. Honest review from an honestly independent source.
Had low expectations seeing Avatar but my god these seats are damn near the best thing I've ever sat on at a cinema trip. Reclining, spacious and soft but supportive. Would definitely go again. 5/7.
Really great viewing experience with reclining seats and loads of great food and drink options. Decently priced in terms of movie theatre standsrds, especially considering the comfort you can watch in, almost as if you're in your own home.
The best cinema around us! Super clean and high quality seats and fabulous sound system. Decent selection of food choices, though wish they have more hotdog options like beef!!
The tickets are quite expensive for the luxe seats and I don't think it was worth it. The seats had not been cleaned- the cup/ drinks holders were dirty and the seats had popcorn on them! We watched the new Halloween movie - not Odeon's fault but it was such a load of rubbish!!! Also we asked for sweet / salty popcorn and asked for the popcorn to be mixed properly/ layered. It was mainly salty and you have to queue up for a while to get your popcorn. They need a better system for ordering/ paying when it is busy.
Screen 1 Isense is a different experience all together. Great recliner chairs. Clean Cinema with excellent customer service.
I visited this cinema today with a group of very special people and I can’t fault the service especially MATT who was amazing, the staff spoke to us and took time to ask if we enjoyed the film. Thank you we will definitely be back again 5 stars all round
Love this cinema, I live in maidenhead so always here. Can be pricey but after the refurb the recliner seats are super comfy, and makes for an awesome cinema experience. Food and drinks as expensive as always, literally the only let down along with the ticket prices... They do saver tickets now and then during quiet periods but still, if you want cheaper normal cinema goto the Vue in reading which is perfect if you want the standard seating etc Odeon maidenhead is a beautiful cinema and understand the fact they've got to make the money back for the refurb which is why I still visit.
Huge recliner chairs, clean and plenty of space. Went to an early Black Adam showing and had the place entirely to myself, was great.
