Clean, quick service & fun afternoon out. Easy to book & available vouchers/discounts. It was busy but we went on a Saturday afternoon so to be expected. My daughter's first bowling experience & she loved it
Your typical bowling alley with lots of arcade machines. Kids enjoyed their time here playing bowling and the machines. The place is clean enough, although looks a little worn in places. Checking in was swift and efficient, with the lane setup and ready as soon as we had booked in. The balls are all worn and no longer very "round", meaning they often suddenly jump around randomly, but no great issue when just playing for fun. My only major gripe is with the amount of grease the balls appear to get. It felt like they where almost dripping in the stuff and often the balls slipped from our hands before we fully threw them. This resulted in some sore fingers all round from trying extra hard to keep your fingers in them securely. Generally I'd recommend for something different to do. There are some great deals for a small family and the cost is on par to the experience.
Had a great time with my colleague from Aldi! The Team that evening was fantastic. With 26 adults we were worried about the practicalities of it all and the guys had it all organised we were placed in VIP which had 4 lanes and was seating enough for all of us. Food came at the time they said and had no issues with drinks. Atmosphere was great and everyone loved it! Thanks for your help in our team making a memorable moment
Ashley was really helpful when we came in, told us about the different ways to play and use arcade and was very hospitable. He wemt above and beyond to make sure my son is happy with his visit too. The place was clean and we had a positive experience
It was a nice visit on a Thursday evening, bowling was ok as you'd imagine. The pool tables do look and act like they are 2nd or even 3rd hand & 3 of the 4 tables function as expected. There's a smal selection of arcades albeit somewhat expensive. I never got food or drink so cannot comment but did see they menu, they serve a small kids menu & for the adults, a choice of burger or a hot dog. Overall, it's kind of what you'd expect really.
Amazing place to come with your family, friends and children. All staff are helpful and always have a smile on their face, I would like to give a big mention Naz the manager as she made our day with her lovely charms. Would highly recommend and i will come back soon
Went on a Sunday parking is £2.50 for the whole day. Great atmosphere for family and friends. The children enjoyed themselves. The staff were friendly and very helpful and patient. The food portion sizr for the children were adequate. Various games for them to play and explore. Ladies toilets were clean. Good music in the background. Great family fun day all in all. It was busy but not crowded.
We had a 9th birthday party in Hollywood bowl eden... Highly recommend... Staff very friendly, helpful and kind... My daughter and her friends said is the best birthday party they ever been... Soo many activities and fun... It would never be so good without employees...thank you all ...
My sister and I visited in February half term. We booked 1x game for the 5 children to play, one slightly older child and 4x children 6yrs and under. The game cut out with 3 of 5 children having not had their last turn. Tears all round because they didnt understand. The next peoples names just popped up and we were asked to leave the lane. We had been there 3 minutes over the 'allocated time' apparently. We complained to the manager and got a free game voucher for them but they are all under 6 and going to be no quicker by the time the free tickets expire lol. We definitely wont be going back. Wasnt a fun experience in the end for anyone. You have no time at all to drink or eat any snacks you might purchase so im glad we didnt spend a fortune on that because we would have been even longer. I think game duration needs looking at and although they are trying to squeeze as many in as possible for money gain the customer experience is then ruined. At no time were we told we had a certain amount of time to prewarn the children they may not get their last go - this would have also helped.
A very dirty place, bins over flowing and rubbish left everywhere, everything is filthy. Most claw machines were empty of prizes. A lot of games out order too and when I won tickets on a certain game no tickets came out, to the paper has probably run out. Needs a good clean up.
