Friendly staff and nice and clean rooms. Sleeping in a double bed for 2 can sometimes be a struggle and the small sized TV planted about 2 metres from the bed. All in all we had an incredible stay the hotel was in the perfect location for everything. We would definitly come back again.

Beautifull rooms and so clean and comfortable. Great hosts , great chef and the girls who work here are the BEST , Paula , Mammy and Lyn you made us feel welcome and at home. Team supreme and we will be back ... huge THANKS for a great short break xxx

Breakfast was nice, had a room which didn't have an en suite so had to cross the hall to our "private bathroom" which doubles as a fire escape for our floor. The door leads to 4 very steep stairs with a very weak shower and had to duck to get to the toilet as there is a large beam in the way. After using the toilet and turning round to wash your hands it is extremely easy to hit your head on said beam. Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows reeked of head sweat. The room got very cold through the night as the window did not seal properly, the temporary foam put in place to help solve this was also falling apart.

Great hotel, rooms are good sized with private bathrooms and well furnished. Hot breakfast meals are free with a good variety available Parking is difficult especially if you have a big car! Great location to stay if you wish to explore the lake district!
