Produce is fresh and bursting with flavor. Lots of variety to choose from packed inside. Prices are mostly reasonable and staff is friendly even to expats. Can be busy at times so try to avoid rush hour.
Wow, a warm breakfast! Haven’t had food here for years. By chance went there today, and what a surprise. Tasty warm food with reasonable service. Thanks
OMG, not sure what it is with Morrisons, first of all you put all the disabled parking bays as far away from the door as possible. I went in here for the deli only, around 5:45pm to find it closed and cleaned down, so I thought I'd find the deli express that I usually get directed to by the staff behind the counter not sure the staff like to actually serve customers. The choice there was poor, they'd got about 10 different varieties of hams, pork that looked discolored and dry, and that was about it! All the time I was there the overpowering smell of fish was off putting! I ended up buying prepackaged ham that was dry and horrible! I asked the staff at the checkout what time the deli closed her reply was I don't know! Helpful!! She asked a colleague, her reply was not sure! Helpful!! She then went on to say that it depends on what staff they have available again very helpful!! I stopped at customer service to ask them, she said it's hard to say, they are very short staffed, if there isn't enough staff on that day it will close early. As a customer this is not helpful, I could go in today and it will be open but go in tomorrow and it will be closed! If you're going to keep closing it early at last have the choice on the express deli to make up for it! And give that fish counter a good clean it stinks!
Always well stocked, staff are always friendly and helpful. Never have to go elsewhere to find items. Canteen also do good food at a reasonable price. Never feel pressured to pack your bags at the end either. Probably the best, friendliest supermarket in the area.
A HUGE thank you to the Morrisons shop assistant who helped me carry my basket to checkout, then to my car - as I was in discomfort from a Lumbar Puncture procedure I had the day before. Thank you for your kindness and help.
The older layout of Morrisons Carmarthen was far better with a central cut through isle allowing quicker and easier access through the store. The newer layout forces people down very long isles which means those who have restricted movement or accessibility needs are forced to walk much further than needed just to do a average shop. I believe that this new layout seriously needs to addressed and reverted to the older style setup. A lot of the mature friends and colleagues who use Morrisons as there main shop are very upset with this newer layout , to the point where they are choosing to shop elsewhere because of the restrictive nature of the hemmed in feeling of Morrisons leads to a uncomfortable and uneasy shopping experience.
Good shop but choice of sandwiches is poor , never any there on sunday.
Plenty of room in the aisles and never too busy. Apart from their own brands they also have other brands
I regularly get lunch from here and the selection of sandwiches is very good, the meal deals offer good value with quite a few healthier options too. The store is clean and shelves are usually well stocked with a good selection of goods.
Great bakery,deli and hot food counter. Plenty of parking and recycling point. Nice cafe. And helpful friendly staff. Fantastic range of childrens clothes too
