As the nation’s largest not-for-profit health organisation, we’ve been looking after people’s wellbeing for over 50 years and now we’re looking after yours.

Very disappointing Booked a free day pass with view to joining.On arrival greeted at reception and all very friendly so feeling positive After filling in paperwork Let through security barrier and told Gym that way ..that’s it ! Found changing rooms then proceeded to gym where I stood there like a cabbage wondering what next ! Well,nothing really ! All staff were with the guys who obviously were gym junkies and looked disinterested in anyone else Wandered around trying to work out how equipment worked (which in itself must be fairly high risk for a injury) Gave up after 40 minutes and went home Even if was a 10 minute meet and greet in gym and a quick tour of equipment would have helped and asking what I hoped to achieve would have made world of difference - supposed to be a place of motivation but ended up totally deflated Plus points was clean and obviously well equipped Won’t be going back and put me off going to other gyms now as well

Large gym with excellent facilities, fitness classes and lovely pool area. However it lacks a friendly more personal approach. The bar area doesnt match the quality Nuffield usually offers with very few healthy drinks or snacks available. Service sadly does not match the expensive membership fee.

I am currently trying out North Gifford gym on a free trial from my work, so far facilities are good but receptionist treating my trial with contempt and snootiness .... it really does not reflect very good reviews here, as I am considering joining a health club in the next month or so and the first impressions really do count

The staff here are brilliant, always on hand to help with any quiries. Facilities are brilliant with plenty of cv equipment, boxing bag + kickboxing bag on the gym floor. & free weights area there's cables & with 5 squat racks so you won't be get away with making excuses for skipping leg day. Swimming pool & saunas great additions also.

First session (intro) and very good trainer Brad was friendly and helpful good advice. Clean changing room and gym floor def a good choice to join.
