Shocking customer service. Called to book a cab and none available, which isnt an issue. But when I asked for recommendations for who else might be able to help (being new to the area myself) the response was "another firm" .. thanks for your help. How rude!

I've used this firm for quite a while now for the same journey every time, I know they are usually £1 more expensive than all of the rest of the taxi firms in Wellingborough. However upon this journey, just the same as all the rest, I was quoted £7.00 by the phone operator, the screen in the car stated £7.00, yet my change from a £10 note was only £1.50... this set alarm bells ringing for me, to which I immediately contested my change. The response from the driver was "It's £7.00 to Wellingborough, but because your drop off is on an estate we have to charge you the extra", I immediately called the office to contest the charge with them, because of course... they had quoted me a price, and told the drive the price... yet they wouldn't do a single thing and told me I will have to call again on Monday morning to speak with the manager. at this point the driver was becoming more and more aggressive in his mannerisms because I'm saying he's over charging me.... Absolutely shocking service, no support for the customer, and could care less about the customer, all they want is your money. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. If you want a better service, or some actually customer service, I would advise you either use Simply Cabs (01933 400 400) or Lee Cabs (01933 442 444)
