I would like to add my recent experience following a severe mental health crisis. Ambulance to A&E. Handed two leaflets by psych team. No follow-up, referral, etc. Overnight in EAU. I was extremely unwell and didn't have the 16 daily meds I need to take. Discharged back home. This is the very, very short version but need to avoid any triggering effects in other people with similar mental health issues. People are constantly being failed by the system, often with, sadly, a fatal result. Emergency services are still stretched to the limit, working long hours, they go above and beyond, and one thing I noticed, they were visibly exhausted, constantly yawning but carrying on to the best of their ability. We all know where the blame lies and it can't carry on this way, the NHS is a proud institution established in 1948 and envied the world over. It needs funds urgently.

Absolutely disgraceful no bed for disabled left in a chair for 2nd night you need to close your doors as the system in a complete failure to any human being if you have no beds then leave peoe at home with intensive home support I have gone to the BBC now with photos as I was promised this would not happen a bed would definitely be found today but no chair again bed management cannot move people around at night so what's the point of paying a wasted salary to one person to work all night to achieve nothing .
