It's a really nice and modern library with lots of space. I loved the kids' area. I only wish that food were not allowed in the reading area as it smells bad and it is distracting.
I am very impressed with the new city library. Airy, warm, spacious, and inviting. Good to see plenty of staff on hand to help and ensure the safety of all users. The children's area is particularly lovely. What a wonderful place to help encourage children, students, young and old to explore the world of books in safe, warm, pleasant surroundings. The immersive room is magical for children. It's like being inside a book where when they touch the walls, magical things happen. Absolutely lovely. Such a wonderful investment for people to enjoy. Well Done Nottingham!
It very much seems that it's more about the space than the stock availability here. I visited on a Monday at about half 4 and the cafe wasn't open which was a real shame. However, the staff were really helpful and ordered a book in for me, I would assume that's generally going to be the deal if you are looking for something specific. Nice space with plenty of areas to sit, the children's section is adorable.
Lovely spacious and modern library which has lots of seating, meeting rooms and computers as well as a large selection of books and materials. Has a cafe serving drinks and food. Also has toilets. Staff are friendly and helpful and went out of their way to locate a book which I could not find on the shelves.
An excellent new library with a great children's section to read and to create. Great links to local public transport and broadmarsh car park. We have been here for a children's book signing as they have some events on throughout the year. There is also a small cafe and lots of places to read and study.
i ordered a crystal castles cd which is very rare off amazon, and when it came there was stickers all over the case from 2013 and there was even a INK PRINTING on the picture and lyric book, now my cd look a hot MESS with a RED printed ink on a BLUE and WHITE cover. i am not happy about this, literally stop making everything about you challenge
Very nice new library. The space is very clean and cool. However, the study space is limited. There are a couple little study booths but they are located right next to the children’s section which means listening to kids screaming and running up and down. Which I don’t understand how that is allowed in a library?
Very clean, bright and modern. The children’s place was brilliant, and the staff was awesome. Very well done and designed.
Fabulous children's area, the interactive room is the firm favourite with different themes on a regular basis. There's always a small craft/colouring activity available. It's a bright, tidy corner section, plenty of seating and really comfortable for children to read and play.
Amazing staff with awesome managers. A fantastic location to study with an incredible range of digital and physical resources. Keep up the fantastic work Central! You are underrated and deserve more praise for the excellent service delievery.
