We came here for something easy for tea that always is good food- and again it was. We love this pub and we regularly come here when we are in Lincoln. Staff are lovely, prices are decent, service is relatively fast for the size of the pub- you can’t go wrong. We had a Tex-mex platter for the first time and quite enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.
The pub is worth a visit but the food is a bit pants. I've been here twice recently so not a regular. First time the food was OK and edible, service wasn't bad and the staff dealt with all problems. There were a few! My most recent visit ended with a refund. Kudos to the manager and staff too for acknowledging the obvious and reimbursing us. Avoid the chicken. Gammon might be burnt. Onions will be slop! No point asking how you'd like your steak. Part cooked chips. Up your game THE OWNERS. Well done to the staff.
Great experience at this pub restaurant and would recommend for a good meal. Prices where reasonable and the quality of the food could not be faulted. There is parking onsite and there is plenty of disabled access areas.
Lovely pub, I'd recommend to book a table in advance as it can get busy at times. Friendly service, tasty food, prices are not bad either!

Food is always great, staff are genuinely happy to help and service is quick. It can get quite busy so you need to book in advance most of the time, but this is easily done online or over the phone. You're always told if there is a bit of a wait for food when you're seated too, so you're never just sat there wondering if they've forgotten your order like in some other places! Good selection of drinks. Very family friendly too.
Despite the fact I had complaint today I cannot fault the service. Nick handled our issue amazingly and brought over the manager Sophie to us when asked. But credit where credit is due he did everything he could for us before Sophie had to get involved as he was not able to do anything further. Sophie was amazing and I cannot fault her as a manager she is a credit to the business. Although the food we received wasn’t the best the customer service was amazing, and so we shall return in the hopes the food standards are up with the customer service standards that we received from Nick and Sophie!
Use this pub regularly but last two times our visits are not good. Been today at 12.30 ish and were told it was a 40min wait which we were OK with so no problem but when our food came out it was barely like warm chips nearly cold and burger not a lot hotter ordered extra onion rings at over £2.00 a portion which arrived then mu husband said think we should have some on or plate as well and on checking menu yes our meal should have had 3 per plate as standard we had none only our extra portion. It's a shame we are the type that don't like to complain but staff were so busy anyway our food would have been even longer.
We went to the Quiz on Wednesday and the welcome to the pub is so warm and inviting! The bar service was amazing, served so quickly with a smile and so polite! And the food was phenomenal and for such decent prices! I have found a place I am willing to become a regular too, I definitely recommend!!!
Best steak my partner has had in ages! cooked perfectly. Ryan behind the bar was really friendly and very helpful. After a bad experience here a few years ago we thought we would try again so glad we did!
