We have just returned home after spending a great week in the lilac cottage and it was warm and cosy and great place for our dogs. It's in a great location if you want to get away from it all and the hustle and bustle of a every day busy life style. Would highly recommend it if like me you like the outdoors and the smell of the countryside but also you are still close enough to local amenities and the local pub if you enjoy a drink, good food and great hospitality. We will be returning again later this year as it was that good.
