I recently visited North Tyneside Hospital on three separate occasions and was impressed with their seamless quality service. From point of entry, a spotless hospital, welcoming and highly efficient staff who dealt with my problem promptly, professionally and cheerfully. I was very pleased to see Dr David Ripley on two occasions who was very approachable and clear in his summing up of possible causes of my illness and the course of action to be taken. With many thanks to Dr Ripley and his team.
Outstanding care when taking my 6yr old daughter who had broken her arm. Waited all of 5 minutes then straight through to be seen given the nature of her injury. Everything flowed seamlessly and the staff were all brilliant. In and out within 90 minutes. We are here on holiday and know it would have been a different story in our home town.
Admitted 12th 13th 14th of January 2023 I hate hospitals, the nurses on ward 7 a really careing friendly, polite, always goes the extra mile ,there is a lovely romainain nurse ,she is really nice an asset to the NHS surevice,
Went for pre op for my hernia operation which I am terrified of getting on Thursday saw a nurse called Meg who was an absolute angel and the two girls who took my blood were fantastic when I came out I was totally at ease these people do want medals wonderful hospital
Had an xray at NTGH yesterday 10th Jan. Everyone was very helpful, I was seen very promptly so thank you to the radiographer and the very helpful ladies at the main entrance helping people with queries. And I don't mind wearing a mask, in fact I'd much rather do so!
I had an appointment at NTGH at the Day Surgical Unit for 0945 this morning to remove a large tag from the side of my hip. I was seen almost straight away and the procedure was done by a lovely lady called Suzanne and her glamorous assistant. Suzanne was very good at her job and I didn't feel a thing not even the anaesthetic needle. She did a fantastic job removing it and keeping me well informed what to do in the coming days ahead of the surgery, I thank again to the lovely pleasant and friendly Suzanne and her assistant very much indeed. Had to go to emergency care today and the treatment was excellant the waiting time was so good doctor and staff were fantastic well done north tyneside hospital
I rang for an xray appointment this morning got one for 1.30 checked about 1.25 had xray and i was back in my car by 1.30 and the staff are absolutely brilliant lovely and friendly if you get a choice for hospital definitely go here.
Ineeded to use the walk in centre and found them friendly and extremely helpful with quick triage then seen by a doctor who treated me and arranged further treatment. Great care from competant people
We arrived early for my partners antenatal scan appointment today which was at 11:20AM. TOOK AGES TO BE SEEN GOT TOLD THERE WERE DELAYS BUT OTHER COUPLES WERE GETTING SEEN BEFORE US, WHO ARRIVED AFTER US SO WE WERE THE LAST TO LEAVE, IT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE. WAS THERE FOR NEARLY 1 HOUR 30MINS! WE ARE NOT PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE!
