Great surgery, the best in the area. True, a prebooked appointment can be difficult to get, and locum doctors can be a bit of a hit and miss. However whenever I had an issue that needed medical attention it is always available promptly, sometimes on the same day. I can remember my GP spending over half an hour with me when a few things in my life got a bit difficult - thank you! I can always phone or send online message to a GP, and it does get answered. Out of hours is available too, used it quite a few times. If Skype or smartphone app consultations were available it would have been ideal - save doctor's and my time, travel costs, inconvenience etc.

I rang this morning for an appointment with the GP later in the week.  I was told there were no pre-bookable appointments until Wednesday next week.  I was not given any other option, so made an appointment for next week.  It's not good enough waiting 9 days for an appointment.  I hardly ever ring for an appointment, but the exact same thing happened last time I tried to book an appointment.  My daughter has experienced the same thing, where my husband at a different practice gets an appointment within a couple of days no problem.  On your website it states that bookable appointments are usually with a couple of days which is fair enough, but to have to worry for over a week is not acceptable.

I've been with this practice for nearly two years. They are very easy to get hold of for advice. I recently rang for advice and was given an on the day appointment. Very friendly staff and quick to help

Refused any method of treatment because at 13 stone I was deemed "chronically & profoundly obese" by a melodramatic Spanish doctor who shouted at me, refused to listen or let me speak and pronounced me as the most overweight person she'd ever seen & that I was at immediate risk of cancer, heart attack & stroke. Despite a low - and lifelong history - of low blood pressure reading. When I asked her "so if obesity is the problem, and as i've mentioned on my last 3 visits, I've run 2 half marathons in the last 12 months, am part of a running club, run 20 miles a week, walk and do yoga 5 nights a week for 20 mins a time, what help do you offer with chronic profound obesity?" "Do you know about Weight Watchers? Otherwise no" was her response. Please do not withdraw treatment or slap patiente with the obesity excuse if you cannot help them. A disgusting appalling disgrace to the NHS. Complaints lodged but no doubt I'll get meaningless policy-based waffle like I dis when I had the same response being 10 stone, 5ft 5 in my last clinic 2 years ago when you also pronounced me as being chronically obese and your sexual health nurse kindly took it upon herself to send me some obesity leaflets to my home address. A disgusting disgrace. Just as well I've never had an eating disorder.
