It's a wonderful shop with a wide range of both kits and consumables, many of which are difficult to find outside of model shows. It's easily the best bricks and mortar shop in the north of England and one of the best in the UK. I visited today and left without buying anything after ten minutes because of the awful dance music that was blaring out for some reason.

My first visit today and can I just say how impressed I was with the selection of model kits and sundries on offer. I spent an hour and a half looking and then out came the credit card. Two young staff members were excellent, i Will definately be back.

Great model shop with very friendly and helpful staff. We have been using the shop for a good few years now. From buying models, paints and r/c cars etc.nPlenty of good quality branded products from tamiya, kyosho, hpi, dragon, eduard and etc,etc. Every time we have been they have always had what we have wanted or or a similar product. And great prices.nThanks again.

Definitely not a  positive retail experience  for me shopping  here, in my opinion.  I get the impression the owners of this very well resourced emporium do not view those entering through the front door of their store as valued customers,  but rather regards us all as potential shoplifters. This is quite obvious from the sign on display at the outside entrance to the store ordering customers not to put items in  their pockets. There are other negative issues I found that gives the indication that the staff just do not trust anyone who enters here but I will leave that for now.  I have to admit I do not  have all the answers to solving the apparent  problems but insulting customers with a sign is not one of them.  I will just have to find somewhere else to get my stuff in future.
