Small and friendly place, so not as much stock as others so had to get a different item than planned or it would mean going back next day or going to a bigger store that had stock, but got what I needed so it was fine.
I’ve visited the Chester le Street store several times within the last year as I’ve started redecorating my home, and I genuinely have not received better customer service anywhere else. Every member of staff I have spoken to has been so helpful, friendly and will always go above and beyond to try and solve any queries I’ve had. I cannot recommend this store enough, and will continue to use them for any of my DIY concerns

I use this particular store quite regularly and can't fault the products and definitely not the staff. They are always friendly and very efficient. One particular lady in the store advised me to use the app and check in rather than wait in the queue. I do this all the time now and find the service brilliant. Staff are fantastic.
Arrived at Screwfix Chester le street yesterday to collect my order only to find my partner had accidentally ordered it & paid for it from the Durham branch.I expected I would then have to drive over to Durham but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful rearranging the order/payment & luckily had the goods in their branch, I was really grateful.Fantastic customer service,thankyou!!
