I’ve used this place a few times now. As a woman I know garages can have a bad reputation but not this place. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and I always check out their quotes before I go ahead with any work and they can’t be beaten. I’d definitely recommend them!

Brilliant service! Took my car in with a rattling exhaust shield late on a Friday afternoon, drove away with it all sorted within 10 minutes! Efficient and professional team, highly recommend!

Great service. Easily arranged a booking, very polite and professional. The job was done promptly and very well. I highly recommend it to anyone. I have used other garages near my work place in the past as they are close but from now on this would be my choice.

Called the garage last minute to fit my headlights/sidelight bulbs. They managed to fit me in and get it all sorted within 10 minutes! Definitely recommend!

Honest, reliable and rapid service on both occasions I’ve used North East Auto Services at Gateshead. First they rescued a poor job done by a dealership at half the price the dealership quoted, and recently they completed an MOT plus the associated repairs needed within less than half a day at a very reasonable price. Would recommend without a doubt, and I will continue to use them for all my vehicle servicing and repairs. All delivered with exceptional levels of courtesy and customer service I might add - a rare find!

Had front springs on my Audi a few months ago with these lads, also went in a couple of weeks back for noise at the back wheels suspected bearing. Checked the car over and did not find any issues, told me the car was safe and they wouldn't throw parts at something that doesn't need it, bring it back if it happens again and it hasn't. Quick service, great honesty, and top customer service from Steve on the desk.

I’m living near the area for a year so wasn’t able to go to my usual garage. I’m a single female and I don’t know much about cars and I was very worried about going to somewhere who would rip me off. I turned up without calling ahead and they were incredibly lovely and I left the car with them. Under 2 hours later I had a call from them to explain the leak from my car was the air con cooling system and sometimes this can be a lot of water and to keep an eye on my water tank but if there’s no changes with it there’s no problems and that they’d also checked the washer fluid wasn’t leaking. Their customer service was exceptional and they were never patronising towards me which I’ve experienced at other garages before and they didn’t even charge me for this which I was incredibly grateful for. They are very trust worthy and if I have any issues with my car in my last few months of living here this is where I would go. Would highly recommend!!! Can’t praise them enough!

Great service! First time using them and great to deal with in all aspects. Called at 9.30am to book car in and as they were quiet said I could bring it in same day for a full service. Took it straight in and by 10.45am I'd had a call back with a full cost breakdown for some repairs, told what was essential and what could wait and also a budget and better quality option. All agreed and work carried out entirely for price quoted and car back by 4pm the same day! Granted they were quiet that day and able to fit it all in but the service was superb. Parts and labour were all competitively priced and fully transparent.

This garage should not even get a star at all.The garage failed my MOT, overpriced me, they told me the price for the repairs to pass the MOT was £726. I went to a different garage, and they fixed everything for £280. I will never use this service again. I have proof it you need to see it. They do overcharge, I should have read reviews before using their service.

I would not recommend people use this company the repair prices being charges are excessive. I booked for a service and MOT at a reasonable price but issues arose when car failed MOT and wanted £600+ for repairs which included £400 for some brake pads and discs. On checking with other garages I was quoted from 160 - 240. They then offered a slightly reduced price but still nowhere near the market price. Was then told I couldnt drive the car and would have to arrange a recovery vehicle so holding people to ransom to pay the money. It ended up that I only needed a few items repairs for the car to be driven and not all the work. Please be aware the service and MOT price might look good but they seem to try and make their money in the repair prices after.
