I would highly recommend Mainline cars nothing is too much trouble. brilliant communication, very patient Craig especially he looked after us from beginning to end I found them to be extremely friendly, helpful, approachable, and professional. I cannot list any fault, overall, this is a 5* service that go the extra mile and above .
I didn't actually buy a car from these guys, but that's only because they didn't have one to match my requirements. I'm still looking and I hope these guys can be the ones to find a car for me: fair on prices and friendly, non-pushy sales staff who are more than happy to help and give advice. I hate buying cars, but feel this would have been a very different experience and felt compelled to write this review for anyone who is looking to deal with them - would definitely recommend. Next time guys.
Really disappointing experience. I was aiming to sell/part ex a car and went through to get some figures and information. What a waste of time! The gentleman, prefer the term arrogant man, in a body warmermid life crisis pending didn't even bother to move when I asked him to take a look at my car. After a bit of very dry back and forth he asked if I had received any other offers and I said I had. His simple, blunt and small minded response was 'well sounds like you have an idea'. After a moment or two of him staring into my soul as though I was the idiot I decided to leave. I won't be buying either of the two cars I intended to buy in cash nor will I be returning. Poor service all in all, I'd hate to think what the after care service from this place is like if this is demonstrative of their sales pitch!
I was sold a faulty BMW by MainlineUK. I had to return the car for repair virtually straight away as it had no working handbrake, not long after the rear brakes locked on and would not release. On top of that... since I purchased the car I noticed the performance and MPG were very poor, so I took the car for a full diagnostics at a reputable garage. The garage diagnosed £3000 worth of faults including timing chain, Oxygen Sensor and Nox Sensor to name a few. Mainline were given the opportunity to repair these faults and had the car for a week, when I got the car back not a great deal had changed but the errors had disappeared. I did not trust the so called repairs so I took it back for another diagnostics at the garage, once again at my own expense. They informed me that all the faults were still there but had been mapped out of the car computer, also the timing chain had not been replaced but had a tensioner put on to tighten up the worn chain. When Mainline were contacted by the car finance company with these facts, they said that they had not done anything with the car as there were no faults and there was nothing wrong with it. Unbelievable... a tensioner on the worn out timing chain and mapped out faults all happened by magic!?!?! Now I am trying to return the vehicle within the first 6 months but Mainline are refusing the return stating there is nothing wrong with it even though there is copious amounts of proof it is faulty. All this time I have been coping with my wife undergoing major surgery for cancer and holding a job down with the NHS. Mainline is a disgusting car dealer with obviously no ethics or morals. FOR GODS SAKE.... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Unfortunately I had to give them one star so I could write this review.
Bought my car in February and have to admit its the best experience of buying a car I've had, Craig, Julian and Simon are all a great bunch of lads, nothing too much trouble, had a couple of very minor issues but they were only too happy to help at my convenience. I even sold them my old car, hassle free for the price I was after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone after a new car.
Ben was really helpful and communicative throughout the process of part exchanging our car, and everything went very smoothly with no unexpected surprises when it came to collection and drop off of our car. Recommended!

Had a small issue with my car - luckily it fell within my warranty period for the vehicle. Craig and Julian were really helpful and my had car fixed for me within five hours of me first calling them regarding the issue they had my exhaust replaced. Top service from everyone and Mainline and really professional, prompt work. Thank you so much
