The team at Dunston are second to none. We’ve used them for the last couple of years whether it be for hire or to buy. The service is second to none and no mistakes have ever been made. A well ran organisation. Its reputation alone is enough of a name in the local and surrounding areas.  Clean and new vehicles which are well maintained and looked after, never did we get a messy/dirty vehicle. Much better than any of the other vehicle operators around or at all!!  When we bought our vehicle from here. Davey even popped down on a Sunday morning between his other plans to accommodate us, nowhere else around would even answer the phone! Its hard to find a place with good standards and service under the same roof and they manage it effortlessly.  10/10 for all round service and customer care.

Hired to do a house move back from Switzerland for some friends.  After hiring a few times locally, I thought I’d give these guys a try for a longer run.  I ideally wanted a tow bar to take the box trailer out too. My search went from Alnwick to Sheffield to no avail.  However, that involved a number of quotes and Dunston came in significantly cheaper than the rest.  Collection was easy and simple without the endless paperwork from elsewhere, and with unlimited mileage, we weren’t having to think about added costs on return.  The van itself was immaculate.  The van drove superbly across the continent empty, and then full to the rafters with no issues.  Plenty of power for maintaining those French motorway speeds.  Return was just as smooth and slick, a check of the fuel gauge and a quick walk around, with the reasonable deposit refunded straight away and appearing back on the credit card within 48 hours.  Not that I need vans often these days, this is the only place I’m going to bother going to in the future in this area.

Excellent service and very efficient in their handling of my request. Needed a good sized van to move a couple of large sofas. Ronnie  arranged a suitable vehicle for the job and had it ready and waiting. My van was very modern, clean and in excellent condition - not like hire vans of old. Returned van at end of the day and left the depot with my deposit returned and well happy with the result. Will use again and happily recommend Dunston Van and Truck. They are a very busy business so if wanting Friday or Weekend hire book early….. they are very popular.

Great service. Needed a van after being let down by another van rental supplier. I asked for a long wheel base van at 3pm and got it by 5pm.  Fantastic service really good clean Van. Would use them again. The price was very reasonable and over £100 cheaper than the big chains with much better personalised service. Thank Dunston van and truck hire.

Excellent service I've used these Guys a few times now. My more recent hire was originally 2 days but because of a fire on the A1 this put me back a day I telephoned them and asked if was possible to extend by a day which they juggled for me. Vans are clean reliable and a good price to hire. I wouldn't go anywhere else thankyou.

Excellent service . Bought  1st van at the end of September after poor service from another company. Went back and bought a second a few weeks later . We had both vans within 36 hours - as a small business this is just what we needed . Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend - this company is second to none .

Great service. The van  was exactly what we needed for our things that needed moving. Easy process,book a van for date needed. Pick it up on the day,no hassle the van was there for us. Check it over then away. This is the one to use,plenty of range of vans to suit whatever the need. Great customer service when returning aswell.

Went to view a Citroen berlingo van it was advertised at 7pm yesterday on facebook i went to view it the next day at 9am said it was sold when i got there it had been sold for 2 days no apologies just attitude 50 mile trip wasted the van is still on facebook now 5 hours after i was told it was sold don't waste your time with this company

Great selection of vans, Great condition, van was well priced and overall great service. Had a minor issue with back right brake and Dave from Dunston van centre got it fixed straight away, no hassle.  Would definitely recommend.
