Nice views, fresh air and good walking.
This is a delightful walk with the sea to one side and countryside views to the other. My favourite walk.
Beautiful walking route beside the sea. Just wish people would clean up after their pets!!
Love this path always going for walks
It's a treat to walk on this path. It's clean, it's beautiful, plenty of parking at Seapark and so much to offer. Could do with some dog waste bins perhaps as it's a popular dog walking spot. Such fabulous views of Cave Hill and the Lough.
A nice walk with good views across Belfast Lough which is spoilt in some places by bad dog fouling. The surface is a mixture of tarmac, concrete and rough path and we found that it is ok just to wear training shoes whilst walking it. It is generally suitable for people with average mobility but some paths are either too narrow or rough for prams and wheelchairs. In parts the narrowness of the path is difficult because it is also used by cyclists. Seats are scattered along parts of the walk. Free car parking can be found frequently along its length. Birds such as Oystercatchers and Cormorants can be seen close to the shore. In summertime butterflies are often seen. The views of aircraft using Belfast City Airport and the ships and boats on the Lough are enjoyable. Little litter was seen on our visit. Overall I would recommend this walk but mind where you put your feet.
This is a great place to visit. It runs from Holywood Marina down to Bangor Harbour and beyond. There are some rough parts on the path but it can be joined at various points along it. Good fresh sea air and great views. Very popular particularly in the Summer. Make sure you have good foot wear and being Northern a brolly at times. There are 'facilities' at Helen's Bay and Crawfordsburn and Seapark. Really good for people who enjoy walking.
So many different places to start from and walk in either direction. Lovely scenic walks along the coast between Bangor and Holywood. Today we walked from Cultra to Seahill - very good surfaces though getting a wee bit uneven as we came near Rockport. We'll worth trying different walks along this coastal path.
Great to have this walk close to where we live. Changing seasons bring new scenes. Lovely to see the ferries and planes coming and going.
Never get bored walking from Holywood to Bangor and back on coastal path. Different every time stunning views which change with the weather. Also chance to see seals, birds and wild flowers, terrific walk, highly recommended. Or you can cycle it.
