Horrible people - and how to get some justice I was repeatedly promised an extra wheelie bin when NDCC went to 3 weekly black bin collections for my area, because we have 3 children and 1 in nappies. Promises, promises, promises, and then they turn around and said "You are not getting one". You can't stop paying these little H*****s as the law is on their side and you will lose automatically in court. BUT what you can do is pay your rates monthly by credit card, as they lose about 5% in processing charges (the law has changed and they can no longer charge you a fee for using a cc). Bit of a chore to do this, but it costs them over £100 a year in lost revenue. I do not like giving money to the cc providers that should go to the council, but s***w NDCC; give me my wheelie bin and I will pay you in advance by bank transfer.

Appalling council and customer service. When I was crying and begging to be moved (because I have lost my son) the manager was sniggering then trying to deny it so I gave her the benefit of the doubt then on a phone call she did the same thing again. I complained and got told that ‘Natalie Nolan’ would never do that it’s not her character. Well I have nothing medically wrong with my ears of eyesight so I know she did but they just covered it up. Very disappointing and some disgusting people who were most likely bullies work there

Useless trying to get hold of someone when I it's important but can't get hold of people all useless you spend more time on hold them actually speaking to someone rubbish council

All the local liars, cheats and con artists congregate here 9 till 5, Monday to Friday (a half day Friday though as they get tired from all the evasion). If you want to know why your council tax bill rises every year but you get less for your money, why the bins aren't collected for 6 weeks during a heatwave or why no adequate or fairly priced parking is provided/available for those that work in the town or perhaps why your planning permission is denied immediately at pre planning stage yet somehow a £2.7 million bridge is built for a development that has yet to be approved but will be once the personal cheque clears then the answers to all those and more can be found here, just don't expect to actually find a truthful answer. They do have nice vending machines in their newly refitted waiting areas though so they get one star for that.
