Odfellows is the best wine bar in Shropshire, with a friendly atmosphere & great homemade food & drink!

Story

Our restaurant serves carefully prepared food using local suppliers. We can cater for couples to large groups to specific celebrations. Perhaps an informal buffet in the bar area is what you’d prefer? We can help. The bar serves a wide range of wines and spirits and dispenses Real Ales by hand pump. We have a great selection of bottled lager and cider too. We also have bar snacks from our friends at Tyrrells.

Visited at 12:15 , lunchtime , on Thursday 18 January 2018, after many years. The place was very quiet but got busier after 1 pm when local office staff pop in for lunch. The food was very interesting and enjoyable with a lovely sweet course. The only problem was the fact the main room was trying to heated by an open fire place at the rear of the room .The fire needs to be well built and kept roaring on cold days. Two real ales from local breweries were on offer but my Salopian Shropshire Gold was distinctly average. Rear car park is well laid out and leads to the steps up to Shifnal railway station.

Been in for a few pints. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Good ale/beer choice. Good snack selection. Although I cannot comment on food, faultless.

Odd place for an inn, but actually very nice! Walk into the bar to book yourself in, the rooms are out the front again and in through another door. Clean and spacious rooms.
