Purchased a car from Nissan abbey lane, leicester in May last year, certain things that needed to be rectified with the car before collecting it, were noted to the salesman when purchasing it. Upon collecting the car these things had not been done and the car was booked in a week later. Took time off work to take the car in only to find upon collection that one alloy wheel had been repaired, not the three others, scratches or the hole in the panoramic sunroof screen. Heated seats also stopped working and battery completely dead so after another day of it being booked in for repairs, the sunroof screen was still not repaired. Both myself and husband have rang numerous times and promised return phone calls and promise after promise to repaire the sunroof screen and a year later it is still the same... complete lack of client care, customer service is zero but very very nice people when they are taking cash from you. Wouldn’t recommend at all

Parts department. No advice, no help, customer service from parts terrible. Wanted parts for my 55 plate Nissan Cabstar. After few minutes got information that part is not available in the warehouse. 
Can`t order. Asked if i can have more details of the part to check online (dimensions, etc) - not possible in main dealer manufacturer of the part don`t know technical data?

Called Nissan Sturgess asked  for the same part. Available next day for order.

Would never use them again having 3 Nissan cars.

All went so well. Bought a new car and at the sales meeting we were told our car came with three years’ free servicing. Take it in for its first service and we’re told we weren’t given it after all. What a con job. Disgusting. An extra £500 to pay over three years. That’s the last Nissan we ever buy.

Took my car to these muppets for a full service and to identify and fix a knocking noise coming from underneath the car. I left it with them all day, During the day they had sent me a video of the mechanic underneath the car, he had pulled at the suspension and said it is absolutely fine, no problem at all there. When I returned for it that evening they said the knocking could be any one of a number of things from exhaust to suspension to engine mounts and they would only be able to identify the actual cause by doing these jobs to eliminate them. He then presented me with a typed quote for £624 to replace the engine mounts. I calmly explained to them that I would not be paying them £624 to do a job that probably did not even need doing and I would take my car to somebody competent who could identify the problem. I returned home and contacted a local back street garage and asked him to look at it for me. When I took it to him he put it on the ramps, pulled at the suspension and identified the problem in less than one minute. I ordered the suspension parts, he collected the car and fitted them. Problem solved. The suspension parts and labour cost me £300. Less than half of what these rip off merchants wanted from me to do a job which never needed doing. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid using either nissan leicester or nissan derby as my experience with them is about the same and if you do use them then question everything and never take what they say at face value. On contacting nissan complaints dept, they will only say that nissan leicester are a franchise and they take no responsibility for them.

WARNING!!!!! Do not buy a used car from Nissan Leicester,  never had so my things go wrong with the qashqui we brought. And the customer service they give is a joke!!! Never ring you back, sick of having to keep chasing any updates to get repairs done,
