The worst service I have ever experienced at a car hire branch. Avoid this place. DO NOT use this branch. I booked a car to collect at Birmingham airport. I then changed pick up location to Leicester. I got to the Leicester and handed my South African Driving Licence and South African bank card to the guy at the desk. Guy at desk made us wait 15 minutes while he "checked the booking". He then said we cannot give you the car unless you give us a UK utility bill!. I said I live in South Africa and we are only in the UK for 4 days on holiday. He said get out as you are being cheeky! What planet is this guy on? Since when can or does a tourist provide a UK utility bill to hire a car when they do not live in the UK? We left and went to Europcar nearby and within 5 minutes we hired a car with Europcar no issues. Very aggressive and rude member of staff. Young Indian guy who wears glasses and a suit, thinks his dad owns the company maybe. Terrible service. Disgusting behaviour. Then we find out he put a £76 charge on our credit card just to spite us. Illegal, immoral and wrong. Avis need to get rid of this rogue employee. Look at other reviews for this branch. Terrible reviews and justified it seems

Arun from Avis is a criminal. He just added all the extras on and asked me to sign in several places. TOTAL CHEATS. avoid.

Very bad service. I booked a car at the beginning of August for 3 days at the end of August and they call me the day before the collection to tell me they don't have a car available. Witch kind of service is this? If I book a car in advance I expect it to be available or at least let me know before so I can book another car in another place. For me this in unacceptable.

I had the worst customer service in my life in this branch, charged me under different name and when i requested to correct my info the guy named Ozy refused to rent me a car. Be careful of this guy he is not honest.

The most unskilled and inefficient branch I have ever seen. Complacency could not be higher, feedback and suggestion for improvement seem not to be of any interest to them, which certainly explain their overall rating.
