I have just purchased a new car from Western Nissan straiton. I would like to thank Jed Briggs for his help, patience, and for making it an easy purchase without the hard sale. Very satisfied customer.

Not great. Went in to buy a car and was left standing about with no sales people approaching or offering to help. A few of them standing chatting and others walking right past us. Didn’t fill me with confidence that their customer service would be great so we left.

Just purchased a Nissan Qashqai from Western Nissan Straiton and very happy with the service from viewing and a test drive on Friday to the purchase and then collection on Monday absolutely first class throughout no pressure no hassle everything fully explained in detail nothing to much trouble kept well informed car serviced mot and valeted ready for today will recommend to family friends too and a special mention and thank you to my salesman Scott Boyle too not only a salesman but a friend now too thanks again Scott

I had previously been to two other Nissan dealerships that could not/would not repair my Qashqai and the customer service was disgusting. I took my car here on the advice of a family member and they could not have been more helpful. They took time to listen to the issue I was experiencing, looked at pictures I had taken of the fault and quickly diagnosed the issue. A software update was applied and the car is driving beautifully with no issues. I cannot thank these guys enough and in particular, Andy MacFarlane, Scott MacKenzie and Graham Muirhead. First class service, thank you.

Went to Ali who messed me about a bit with deals gave me a lot of false information about the car. However part of my deal was 2 free services with Nissan, so I was getting my free service there and they wouldn’t stop hounding me with calls when I was at work trying to get me to buy new tyres from them. Was totally unnecessary the amount of calls 8 in less than an hour when I just got to work and wouldn’t be picking the car up much later. Also disappointed as my car passed the MOT however, I mentioned and was noted that there was a nail in one of the tyres but it was fine to drive temporarily but I had booked to get the tyres done elsewhere. When they finished the service they told me they had taken the nail out the tyre and it was not road worthy anymore, I was extremely angry when I was being charged £85-100 on a tyre and they were trying to charge me £250-300. The service all they were trying to do was rip me off with spending more and more money and with the hounding calls was causing a lot of stress especially when just started work. I also was told I would get a complimentary valet with my service which didn’t happen, clearly because I didn’t spend any money with them. I am looking to sell my Nissan and looking for a new car and I wouldn’t go back to them, with the hounding calls not only when I was getting the service also asking whether I was getting an MOT done with them. I would get calls after calls which were so unnecessary and the false information given about the car is one of the reasons I wouldn’t recommend Ali as a salesman not the first time he’s been caught lying, I know sales have to be made but providing false information about the car  shouldn’t be allowed, I am only 24 with little knowledge on cars so he preyed on that. I wouldn’t recommend the store in general.

Having tried to help a friend out with her nissan juke i was shocked at how the dealership acted. My friend has been a customer there for 4 years since buying the car there with cash and having it mot’d and serviced there every year as advised, despite her loyalty and spending she has been treated really bad. After phoning to ask about getting a diagnostics check ahe was told it would be £90 over the phone which suprised me, i went to drop the car off for her only to be told by scott in servicing it was actually a minimum of £129 and possibly up to over £700 for a plug and play diagnostics check! After going back and forward to check with his managers he confirmed that was th case. I said i would take the car elsewhere, a phone call to a manger later said it was a flat fee of £99 and that scott was new, its a shame how  this garage run under nobles was probably the best in edinburgh, now just anothers garage out to scam people. Really is a shame. On a side note greenback garage along the road said the would do it for free.  Just in response…. The service rep Scott said he checked more than once with his manager/s and it wasnt £99 flat fee but anywhere from £129-£700 and above, if i hadnt been there you would have took my friends car and demanded the money, targeting someone whos first language isnt english, no excuses im afraid and no offer of apology or redemtion to a loyal customer. As i say its sad the garage has went down this path.
